Guide to “Da bomb” quest for dying light on Techland.gg
 
 

The quest

So the quest requires you to kill 50 bombers, however it’s bugged (or the developers typed in the wrong infected name).
 
 
This is a bomber, thats what the quest says you need to kill.
 

 

 

 
 
If killing them counts towards your goal then congrats, you can farm them at the Stuffed turtle quarantine zone.
 
If you’re getting no progress by killing bombers you need to kill suiciders. Suiciders are similar to the standard yellow hazmat zombie except they run (like virals) and explode when they get too close to you or when killed.
 
 
To my knowledge there are 3 methods of farming them.
 
 
 

Method 1 (you’ll need a friend)

The first method is probably the most efficient one. To do it the fastest way you’ll need someone willing to play as the nighthunter in your lobby.
 
 
The nighthunter can unlock the ability to summon a horde which most likely will include a couple of suiciders so you can kill 50 of them pretty quickly that way.
 
 
 

Method 2 (Solo but requires The Bozak Horde DLC)

Suiciders will also spawn in the last area of the Bozak Horde (Trial 13+). To do this method you need to die as few times as possible in the previous trials, you’ll also need a ranged weapon, the double barrel shotgun you get in this area won’t cut it so you need to get a pistol. Luckily at least supply caches in the area contain a pistol and pistol ammo. You can search the crates either in the time between trials.
 
 
So, what’s next?
 
You’ll need to get to trial 16 and collect the bag from the chest. Do NOT deliver it to the chutes. After you get the bag you need to get to a high vantage point. I’ve found this red container to be a decent place to shoot suiciders from.
 
 

 

 
 
So the shooting proccess. Once you’re on the container you can start shooting the hazmat guys. Virals will be able to get to you but you barely hove to do anything to get rid of them (you can just kick them off). The exploding zombies stop spawning after the timer reaches 50-60 seconds so you’ll need to be quick with killing them. After the infected you need to kill stop spawning you can go and either die or fail the trial. That’s where the additional lives come in.
 
Every time you die the trial will restart from the beggining (not the entire Bozak Horde) so you can kill 3 times more suiciders than you normally would. So just start the 16th trial, kill explodey boys, once they stop spawning die, repeat until done.
 
 
With a bit of luck you’ll only need to do the DLC twice.
 
 
 

Method 3 (the worst way)

I do not recommend doing the quest this way. Suiciders can also spawn on night chase level 4 but they are very rare. I’ve tried this methid for about an hour and only got 3 kills.

I’ve made this guide mainly because I couldn’t find the answer to this problem myself (also people said some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that made no sense).
