This guide is to help the players know how to set up Auto loot in Dungeon Defenders Awakened since there are two set ups required to make it function.

Introduction

Since there seems to be people who do not know how the Auto Loot function works I thought that I should put up this Forum post about it. This is something me and a friend of mine discovered yesterday and had an issue with for a while.

How to set it up

This is how it works.

First you need to Filter your bags for the kind of equipment you want to have in it. This is to specialize for each bag what kind of item you want in it like if you want only have Militia gear pieces in a bag all of that kind of item will be placed in it.

When that is done you need to go into the Options menu and then go into the Game play tab. There you can see the Auto-Loot Filters Edit button. When you click this button you can finally decide what kind of items you want to get auto looted.

I added four pictures to show where the options are located and what filters you can choose. Just remember to add only the items you want.

This Image shows where to find the Auto-Filters Edit button in the Option menu.

This is how the Auto-Loot function looks like. I suggest that you that you mark everything in Elementals, Weapons, Armor and Accessories tabs since you probably want everything to be looted. But you should only choose the rarity type you want to have looted like I only want Transendent and Godly items.

In this third Image it shows your Item Box and where the bags are and where you can find the filter button. This part is really important since without this you will not be able to auto loot the items. I would suggest that you make each bag have a certain type of items. For me it’s: Bag 1 Everything in the Accessories tab. Bag 2: Primitive Set. Bag 3: Miner Set. Bag 4: Militia Set. Bag 5. Guard Set. Bag 6: Ancient Set. Bag 7: Staff and Polearm. Bag 8: Axe, Mace, Sword, Attack shield. Bag 9: Cannon, Crossbow, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher.

And in the last Picture it shows how it the Auto loot filter looks like for me for the third Inventory bag.

End

This is how it looked like for me when i set everything up. I hope this guide will help someone who has not figured this out yet.
I hope to see you in Eternia!
