These commands are required to use the Steam version.
 
– Creates a shortcut on the desktop to the DAOrigins.exe.exe (, not the launcher. These can be found here
 
Steam directory. e.g.
 
 
C: Program files steam Steamapps common dragon age origins bin_ships DAOrigins.
 
 
– Right click -> Properties of the shortcut you created with target after "with an a"
 
Space -developer console , a
 
 
– Next, you will need a key in order to open the console in KeyBindings.ini. To find, for example, at:
 
 
C: Users username Documents BioWare Dragon Age Settings
 
 
The entry must be in line
 
 
OpenConsole_0 = Keyboard:: Button_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
 
 
be done and said behind Button_key must not be used any other way
 
You could use the "G" symbol, for example, to make OpenConsole_0 = Keyboard a free option.
 
G is used to activate the console games
 
 
As I mentioned in the first post, you can't see anything when you open the console. Only when you start writing will you see the top of the various characters. You cannot see the text you are trying to write, but that is normal.
 
 
Editing The DAOriginsLauncher.xml File
 
Go to
 
C:\Program Files (x86 – \Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\data
 
 
Right click the DAOriginsLauncher.xml file and open the file with notepad.
 
Find the line
 
 
 
This line should be below that line
 
 
 
Just before autoquit="True" /> add this: arguments="-enabledeveloperconsole". The line should read:
 
 
<true action="execute" file="$BINARIES_DIR\DAOrigins.exe" path="$BINARIES_DIR" arguments="-enabledeveloperconsole"
 
autoquit="true" />
 
 
Save the file
 
 
Install this mod if you have any issues making your CONSOLE commands visible.

3 Skill Points added. These points are visible after saving and loading the game again: runscript zz_add_skills3.

Teleports you to random places on the current map: runscript "zz_jump_around".
 
Teleports allows you to set teleport point on the current map: runscript "zz_jump_around"
 
Turns off AI: Runscript ai off
 
Turns on AI: Runscript ai on
 
You can become a Level 2 Mage by runningscript wizard
 
You can become a level 2 Rogue by runningscript rogue
 
You can become a Level 2 warrior by running a script
 
Unequips all gear you're wearing: runscript zz_economizer
 
X is the amount Copper you want to add. 1000 is 1 gold: runscript zz_money
 
X is the amount you wish to add to XP: runscript addxp
