As of now, you can purchase final doom on steam for 4.99 usd + tax, but both episodes, Plutonia and TNT Evilution (not a misspelling) are available for free if you have either The Ultimate Doom or Doom II on steam. The catch is that its a unity port and not the crusty dos version.

-Simply launch one of the steam doom ports,
-click “add-ons”,
-then click the “available” tab in the top left corner of the screen,
-scroll down until you find them,
-click on one and press q, or click download.
-once it installs, press escape

-Now click the “installed” tab, next to the available tab,
-click on the wad, and
-press F to toggle activation.
-now press escape, and the wad should be active

-now click single player and “level select”
-remember to set the difficulty to “nightmare” for maximum CBT.

Congladurlations, you’ve just entered the fun zone, and you have access to 64 levels of pure unadulterated “fun”. Enjoy your stay.

Tips:
f5 and f9 are quick-save and quick-load. You may as well rebind them to mouse. You will be using them a lot.
Enemy attacks will cause you take health damage, don’t get hit.
I don’t think there is a demo recording feature in the unity port, so if you want to impress that girl you have a crush on, you may have to record with OBS or another capture software.
