Foreword

There are so many aspects that shine on Doom Eternal. The game is packed with so much story content, and at the same time, it has so many missed opportunities. It has so many more connections to other cultures, is it intended to be, or a random design thing? I don’t know.

As an Art student and fan, I had to make an article with my lifetime gatherings on Pop Culture and History to give insights about the topic. I haven’t seen somebody done it like this; most of the articles are either one topic only or mostly less informative;

Just because we are killing demons, everyone talks about how it is the most Christian game, etc., without giving informative references? since demons are only seen on Christianity!
(Does floating DnD Gum, Meatball have a place in Christianity?)
Also, on most of the forums, some zionist looking cringy Semites are trying to claim Doomslayer’s ethnicity? 🙂 oh boy! What a funny f*cked up sh*t show.
However, there is so much to look for about it, rather than Christianity or Judaism only.

As a Turkey citizen, I found that Turkic Steppe Culture, Abrahamic religions mostly with İslamic influences and Asian cultures like Hindu culture, is highly depicted in the game. These can be seen in Artstyle, Vocabulary, and Music. For example, Doomhunters theme Makyr designs fictional languages, etc. So here I am. This is the reason why I write this article. I hope you enjoy it.

About me, Writer: I study Art and Mythology, alongside Graphical Design at University.
What have I done so far?

Stained Glasses and Bell

Stained Glass
——————————————————————————————————
Stained glass is mostly used on Religious sites.
These can be seen in the Middle East, and mainly as shown, European style comes up to the mind in-game.
The European style is mostly used for telling tales of important Historical \ Religious events.
However, Middle eastern \ İslamic art views ban art that “depicts religious figures” on associated works.
Besides that specific thing, praying to material things will ultimately result in detaching from spiritual honesty.
This mainly applies to the prophets because even with today’s technology, we cannot find such people’s exact faces or specific things. By moving with this principle, Middle east examples highly focus on meaningful Geometrical shapes and Color balances.

Bell
——————————————————————————————————
I probably don’t need to explain Bells, but this bell features Arabic looking writings on it.
(same as the example we will be gonna see in the next section)
The Church calls its prayers with Bell’s. On İslam, however, there is a person responsible for Calls. This act is called Adhan, Ezan, etc., in respectful languages. The cool connection between the two.

History:
Long story short (like really short, there are lots of things happening between in these eras)
Jewish king and prophet Solomon, son of David, build the first temple. Then the temple was sieged by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II, which led to a split of Jewish kingdoms into two.
After some time, jews returned with the indulgence of Persian king Cyrus and rebuilt the second temple.
Many conquests happened lastly by Romans.
Romans crucified Jesus with the accusal of being a false prophet by jews.
Christianity emerges in Jerusalem; then, it has been sieged by Roman commander Titus for the rising local revolts.
There are lots of things going on between these instances, be sure to keep that in mind.
Moving on, sometime later, Hadrian exiled jews for the reason of Bar Kochba’s guerilla uprisings.
Then the city passed from Roman to the East Roman empire. Then Umayyad, and many other İslamic states.
Crusades happened around this time, mostly against Seljuk Turks and near states to support but result in crimes between Catholic (Latin) – Orthodox (Balkan) sides with the pillage of Constantinople by Crusaders, which leads to rising Tension and problems between both sides, at the end of the day; Mongols swiped all up and mopped the floor with everyone.

During that time, Seljuk Turks squished between Mongols and joint Europe crusades (continuing expanding towards the west) changed ruling power from Seljuk to Ottoman Empire. Then conquered Constantinople and surrounding kingdoms.
Yavuz Sultan Selim (9th Sultan) conquered Jerusalem from mamluks with thoughts of Crusader cooperation between the two. Then, his son, Magnificent Suleiman, came to the throne and repaired the temple alongside ordered Blue Faience’s around the dome to be made, which can be seen today.

Ring any bells? (Solomon – Süleiman :))

Who knows what the hell is going on there today !…
but to talk about today’s look on
“Dome of the rock.”
The Jordan government made a significant Golden Dome In 1955 with funds supplied by Muslim governments and Turkey. The work included the replacement of large numbers of tiles, which had become dislodged by heavy rain.
In 1965, as part of this restoration, the dome was covered with a durable aluminum bronze alloy made in Italy. That replaced the lead exterior. Before 1959, the dome was covered in blackened lead. The insubstantial restoration was carried out from 1959 to 1962; the lead was replaced by aluminum-bronze plates covered with gold leaf.

Religious importance:
The place In the Abrahamic religions is where God created the world and the first human, Adam. It is also believed to be the site where Abraham attempted to sacrifice his son İshmael. (forefather of Muhammad) In turn, they made similar rituals in respectful Religions. Korban in Judaism, Qurban in İslam on Christianity, however, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, in turn, removed the need of any ritual.
Rock is the place where God’s divine presence is manifested more than in any other place. The site’s great significance for Muslims derives from traditions connecting it to creating the world and Muhammad’s Night Journey to Jerusalem.
To pray to God with all other prophets that came before him,
with the help of winged horse Burak. Started from Mecca to the rock at the center of the structure
(approx 1.486 KM).

Bonus it features another rock at the bottom of the Dome 🙂 Which has another thing at the bottom Hımmmm…
(these things need to be mentioned about the structure, and as I said, this is the shortest of it)

Domes
——————————————————————————————————
Domes, as a whole, is a vast study field to tell it here.
But we can sort them by their shapes and lengths.
For example, Onion, Ellipsoidal, and Geodesic Domes list goes on.
On Doom Eternal, we can see a lot of Domes at Argent D’ Nur.
Argent people use Hemispherical, Oval, and Polyhedral dome skeletons at their buildings to differentiate them from one another.

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

With this thinking, we can safely assume that it influenced by some of the designs around the world,
mostly from roman architecture as firstly been seen used on Panteon – Rome

Today domes, (Hemispherical ones mostly) are used on İslamic mosques rather mostly than others. It’s not a new thing; İslam used domes back then but, Hemispherical domes became popular after Ottomans use it in their architecture.
This dates back to probably the recognition and restoration of Hagia Sofia as a Mosque in 1453, which transferred Roman architecture to İslamic architecture.
However, before that, domes in Turkic culture date back to nomadic tents and tombs with shamanistic beliefs.

Domes check. What makes Mosques so special than other buildings? That question’s answer with the main purpose of calls is “Minarets.”

To conclude, my words, one building interest me more than others in the game, and that building features half Minarets. Is it purposely made or not? I don’t know cool similarity if you say to me?

Short as the last one, According to the story, a united human race in the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating westward, comes to the land of Shinar. There they agree to build a city and a tower tall enough to reach heaven. God, observing their city and tower, confounds their speech so that they can no longer understand each other and scatters them around the world.
The reason is the king of Babylonians, Nimrod, shot an arrow to the sky from the top of the tower to defy God. Then winds scattered people around everywhere, and no one can understand one another from that day on.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1302666759
Seraphim refers to another Angel (as seen on top Left from the Mosaic at Hagia Sofia)
Unlike Samael, Seraphim is a protective angel and has different descriptions in Abrahamic religions

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

Well, he has two names, one on Earth and one in Urdak. The name Seraphim is referred for Doomslayer because Sammy changed the BioID of Slayer with his own to infiltrate Urdak.
We will see What he will choose itself to be in the future. My main bet is that he will take the
Samael – Samuel route.

Now, as of the last one, I want to talk about “Agaddon Hunters from Telos Realm.”

Doom Hunters
——————————————————————————————————
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

The main thing about them in terms of story is; they belong to a race that existed before humans. Probably on Argent D’ Nur main reason for this, it was implied that Argentas and Agaddons fought in their homeland sometime during hell invasion.

The main parallel for this is Neanderthal (Real-life) people’s and Nephalem’s (Myth)
Neanderthal people Extinct alongside Denisovans after the increasing population of Homosapiens.
They are bulkier; Heavy boned, Hairy cousins of our race. There is no other information necessary for you to learn here.
On the other hand, Nephilim’s (Fallen Angel in Hebrew) is an interesting topic, sometimes confused for giants. Nephilims are children between angels and humans; the same applies to Christianity.
On İslamic belief, however, Angels wouldn’t be described with genders; instead, they were created from Pure light’s “Nur” to be exact. So İslam denies this as thought.
From th game’s perspective, it looks like been implied giants vs. the human’s side of the story more.
Cool deep character both image and story (homage to the old game) wise

Bestiary

This section will feature linguistic and mythological explanations. However, I don’t find a need to distribute these to other sections.

Tentacles: Well, it’s funny to talk about this; Eternal most definitely had some ideas from
“Japanese Culture” demonic tentacles. (I still can’t believe I’m explaining this XD)
However, from a Mythological standpoint, the only popular creature we have with tentacles is the nordic Kraken.
Most other creatures that have tentacle-like appendages, in fact, have serpent arms, besides tentacles, regarding snakes imagery on religions.

(No, I won’t post any more images, uh, uh.)

Baron of hell (Bruisers), Hell knight, Hell Hunters, The Gladiator, Cyberdemon (Tyrant), Pinky
have all been influenced by the typical goat leg Devil image. (i talked about it at the top)
like Mythical Satyr also they feature minotaur, pig-like appearances. Snake textures can be seen on 2016 Hell Knight, I think, for the same reason as I stated above.

İmp (Nightmare İmp – Prowler) means a small, mischievous devil or sprite.
Gargoyle in french Gargouille means ugly beast and also can be seen on the corner of the buildings. Which also explains their influences.

The Arch-vile‘s name is most likely based on the prefix arch- (meaning ruler or supreme) + the word vile (meaning bad or disgusting). Also, its appearance is probably influenced by the classic Alien image.

The name Revenant is of French origin and generally means “one who returns (from death).”
In original titles, Revenant is considered as a demon, but on ninstallmentsnts, they are all considered as humans that have been transformed by Lazarus wave exposures.

“Art by Alex Palma”

There are many origins to the name of the Mancubus. It is derived from two medieval demons. “Succubus,” a female demon appearing in the dreams of men, and “Incubus,” a male demon who would prey upon women who were asleep. “Manducare,” Latin for chewing, devouring, or eating, and lastly, “Mancus,” referring to being crippled or missing limbs.
A fitting explanation for the monster’s name seems to be a bastardized combination of the termination of the medieval demon names succubus and incubus preceded by the syllable man-, possibly referring to the Latin verb manducāre, which means “to chew” or “to devour.” Manducus is also the Latin word for glutton (the syllable man- is also the beginning of the Latin word manus, meaning “maimed” or “with a crippled or missing limb,” alluding to the fact that the monster has flamethrowers instead of arms).

Pain elemental and Cacodemon:DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan
The name Cacodemon, which comes from the Greek “κακοδαίμων” (kakodaimon) usually meaning “evil spirit,” a more precise name for what is generally known as a demon (which ultimately comes from “god” or “spirit”), is in English a word that may be found in most comprehensive dictionaries.
The monster’s general visual design is similar to that of the Beholder, a similarly one-eyed classic Dungeons & Dragons monster (with eye stalks instead of horns). The Cacodemon was also created from the cropping of a creature that appears on the cover of Manual of the Planes, a Dungeons & Dragons expansion book. The creature itself is known as an Astral Dreadnought and was created by Jeff Easley for that book. Doom Eternal refers to the Astral Dreadnaught in its codex entry for the cultist base, citing a “mythic cyclopean giant from Argent D’Nur’s past,” Called an “Aggaddian.”

The Spiderdemon – Arachnatron Bears a conceptual resemblance to Krang from the 1987 edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both pilot walking machines, with the difference being that the Spiderdemon’s machine is a much larger and a more generic-looking quadruped.
In the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, there is the Kraang Spider Gunner, which seems completely parodies the Spider Mastermind.

Wiki suggests The Whiplash bears some resemblance to Nharre’s demon from John Romero’s Daikatana.
But for a Mythical standpoint and its feminine appearance, we can safely assume it was based upon Gorgons, without the power of medusa’s gaze.

Honorable Mentions from Doom 3:
Sabaoth being the forerunner to Doom Hunter, actually resembles Strogg faction modifications from the Quake series. The word “Sabaoth” is Hebrew for “armies.” Ironically, the term is almost always a suffix for Yahweh, forming “Yahweh Sabaoth,” or “Lord of Hosts (or Armies).”
Maledict could come from the Latin word malediction, meaning speaking evil, which matches Betruger/Maledict perfectly. Maledictus is Latin for a curse (literally meaning “accursed” or “damned”), which references Betruger’s transformation into the Maledict. As his demonic from looking like dragons, we can safely connect him and sentinel dragons with each other; however, sentinel dragons demonic or not, time will tell.
Cherubs are named after angelic beings of the same name from Christianity, which had four heads. These are often depicted as angelic infants with wings (“putti”) in modern Western Christianity, which may have inspired this monster’s design.

Summoners Unwilings Mancubuses, Harvesters, Wraiths, and many other monsters from 2016, including; Samuel Hayden and Maykrs, feature one big glowing eyes in their designs

Marauder: has a striking resemblance to Death Knight (Warrior Eternal) from the Quake series.

When the blood rage abates, his desiccated mind asks again: Who were you? How many battles? When will it end? The answers mattered once,
Before the seethe-monks’ blessing relieved him of mortality, long before the Trespasser debased his master and took her Dire Orb for himself.
The tungsten “heart” that pumps molten lead through his veins serves as a constant reminder of his plea to the Great Black Goat a dozen centuries ago—the only plea he has ever made: “Let me be forever at war.”

Linguistics

Not much knowledge on this field, but looking from my perspective, I found some
Verbal and visual connections to Turkish and near countries these are:

Musical Feature

“Overtone Singing,” also known as overtone chanting, harmonic singing, or throat singing – is a type of singing in which the singer manipulates the resonances created in the vocal tract to produce additional overtones above the fundamental note being sung.
From a fundamental pitch made by the human voice, the belonging harmonic overtones can be selectively amplified by changing the shape of the mouth’s resonant cavities, larynx, and pharynx. This resonant tuning allows singers to create more than one pitch simultaneously (the fundamental and one or more selected overtones) while actually generating only a single fundamental frequency with their vocal folds.

Historically speaking, Overtone’s singing style is mostly seen on Ural Altaic peoples in the world.
Other examples can be related to Turkic pastoral \ cultural, and population migrations.

Examples of throat singing can be seen on:
Asia: “Mongolia and Buryatia,”
“Tuva, Altai and Khakassia, Chukchi Peninsula, Tibet, Japan,”
“Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan,”
“Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan,”
Scandinavia: “Sami people of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Bashkortostan,”
Europe: “Sardinia (İtaly) Barbagia”
America: “Inuit”
Africa: “Thembu Xhosa”

From Shamanistic Skalds of the Tengrism, the strong voice of Throat singer’s talent echos on Doom Eternals Soundtrack.

Also, “Gente” means people in Spanish.
  • Argent D’Nur:
“Argent” means “Silver” Driving from Latin “Argentum.”

Also, “Kaliba” means “female dog” in Arabic, but I’m not sure of this one.——————————————————————————————————
  • Aggadon, Abbadon:
“Agadón” in Spanish means “Valley.” Avaddon” in Hebrew means “Doom.”
  • Golgothan Ruins: (Located at Antarctica Cultist base remains the location of Aggadon hunters) “Golgotha” means “Skull” in Aramaic also called Calvary, (from Latin calva: “bald head,” or “skull”), a skull-shaped hill in Jerusalem, the site of Jesus’ crucifixion.
  • Telos Realm (Alorum people from Telorum):
“Telos” means “End” in the Greek language.
  • Nekravol: Definitely relates and derives from the “Necro-“ prefix meaning death.
  • Urdak:
“Ur” was a name for “Old Sumerian city.”
(located near the Persian Gulf Bottom right of Shinar – Mesopotamia)
However, I don’t have much idea about “dak.”Ur was also the Birthplace of Abraham.
Forerunner also the first prophet of Abrahamic religions (İslam Christianity Judaism)
No wonder why the name was chosen for “Urdak” 😉

——————————————————————————————————

  • Kadingir Sanctum: (Doom 2016)
“Kadingir” or “Ka Dingir” is the Sumerian name for “Babylon,” meaning “Gateway to the Gods.”İn Turkish, the word “Kadim” with “M” means “Eternal” ;D “Gir” as a verb means “Enter.”
  • Ungmar (Codex name that explains Wraiths in 2016): Cannot find anything really, but it looks like an amalgamation of Angmar, the kingdom name from Lord of The Rings. Witch King is the ruler of that kingdom.

——————————————————————————————————

  • Khan Maykr:
Well, it obvious that “Maykr” means “Ma(y)ker,” no doubt about it.
As for “Khan,” it derives from the Old Turkic word “Kağan (Khagan)” (Ottoman Turkish “Hakan”), meaning “Ruler.”
So Khan Maykr stands for Creator Ruler.
  • Cool tip: in old Turkish khaganates and culture, there can be Female Rulers on the Throne. Linguistically there are no gender-specific words like He, She, etc., in the Turkic language. However, for some titles, it can change to male or female-specific.
So as the game lore stated, the old father is a Khan definitely, but the recent ruler is Female that leads us to correct calling of her; technically, we need to call her as…
  • “Khatun Maykr.”

——————————————————————————————————

  • -“KAR EN TUK !!!”-
(Rip and Tear! warcry for Argent D’Nur Sentinel warriors):

    I Can’t find connections with this word, but if I compare it to Turkish, then;
“KAR” as a verb means “Stir” “EN” probably means; “And” in Turkish, “And” means “VE.”
“TUK” is nothing as I can tell but, “Tük” means “single” in Turkish.
  • “Stir and Divide(reduce)”? for Rip And Tear… connection? Maybe not.
let me hear your thought on your languages ;D
  • UPDATE:
After some time, I have found that “Karen Tuk” ( करें तुक ) means “DO IT” in Hindu.

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan
Well, if we look into the writing systems of the cultures around the world, we will turn out to have a handful of alphabets that match Argenta’s letters. That being said, I found some near looking ones, the choice will be yours to make.
There are three Language systems; the main branches stick out from the most.
These are; from most matching to less:
Firstly Aramic mainly Arabic (excluding Hebrew). Secondly, Sanskrit and Third actually here we will look into two Branches, such as Tungusic and Ural – Altaic language families Mongolian subbranch. We can also add Korean and Japanese to the mix.
Without further, do we also need to talk about the subbranches of these family’s letter characters?

(Hindi Punjabi and Bengali)

In Indian languages, some subbranches look very similar to each other. Mainly back then, probably there has been some sort of strict rule, I guess. Which is there will be a strictly horizontal line on each character. Sadly there are not so many characters to share this on Argenta characters, only a handful.

If we want to widen this range, we can look way back to Gibraltar Strait on Spain. There are many subscripts to Arabic letters. Primarily we will focus on Syriac.

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

Compared to Arabic, Syriac has more angled characters than Arabic ones. We can’t see any of this on other Aramic branches. If we look into the Hebrew alphabet, we will see that different from other ones; there are no “connections \ Flow” between characters. Also, we can see 90* turns more often on letters. The cool fact Jesus has used this language in his lifetime. Last and least, we will go to Central Asia, excluding Sino – Tibetan language and influences. For example, Chinese characters are not letters; to be exact, each character is its own word hell sentences. We also need to look at angles and shapes on Chinese, Korean, and Japanese characters; the same flows can be seen in Japanese and Korean. For Chinese characters, however, they seem like buildings made of bricks. These seem less on others.

“Not to mention there are tons of dialects to look for on Chinese, any country that has that much population, of course, there will be some major dialects to pop up, moving on.”

So mainly, we will focus on Ural – Altaic tree’s Mongolian side and the Tungusic ones. Like Chinese Mongolianthis, one is written upside down; the same thing applies to Tungusic ones.DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

(Manchu Kalmyk)

Unlike Chinese and other letter systems, it connects its letters to continuing ones, just like many Aramaic ones. To compare it to the game, we need to rotate the characters. There are small matches here and there.

Bonus Fact:
Whatever writing systems there are, the Tool that engraves writing to the surface is the most important.
On Doom Eternal, we see that Calligraphy plays a huge role.
Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad-tipped instrument, brush, or another writing instrument. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as “the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner.”

For DOOM Eternal, I was tasked to develop the fictional languages and alphabet used by the Maykr and Sentinel race.

The Sentinel language was influenced and inspired by Aramaic, Arabic, and Tolkien’s elvish language.
Meanwhile, the Maykr writing was influenced by more ancient writings like those from the Mesopotamian and Babylonian eras, with some fusion of Chinese and Korean characters. Another influence on the look of the language was Greek star constellations.

Maykr Language

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan - Maykr Language
The Celestial Alphabet, also known as Angelic Script, is an alphabet described by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa in the 16th century. It is not confused with John Dee and Edward Kelley’s Enochian alphabet, which is sometimes called the Celestial alphabet. Other alphabets with a similar origin are Transitus Fluvii and Malachim.

Origin: The language was first made by occult scholars studying angelic kingdoms, (?:) specifically Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, many centuries after the death of Jesus of Nazareth. The script was first published in his third book, Of Occult Philosophy. The script and language were invented to communicate with angels, and it was later claimed that these symbols were sent “by God,” given to angels, and then passed along to humans. No known major books have come out written in this script.

Doom eternal, like many other games, features Wolf aspects in the game, primarily on Argent people and Slayer gates.
Today we will look into Wolves on international cultural folklore.
It will be long, unlike other ones, because this motif can be seen on many more media and peoples worldwide we need to get the full picture. However, popularity in culture is different from many to another. The order is done tending to that rule.
Not all cultures have the same amount of imagery of Wolves. Keep that in mind. Have a good reading.

DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

The Wolf is a common motif in the foundational mythologies and cosmologies of peoples throughout Eurasia and North America (corresponding to the Gray Wolf habitat). The Wolf’s obvious attribute is its nature of a predator, and correspondingly it is strongly associated with danger and destruction, making it the symbol of the warrior on the one hand and that of the devil on the other. The modern trope of the Big Bad Wolf is a development of this. The Wolf holds great importance in the nomadic peoples’ cultures and religions, both the Eurasian steppe and North American Plains.

p.s. I had to point out that I couldn’t find any intriguing pictures about Wolves in their respected cultural arts; we need to do with stories on those.

Individual

Sino – Tibetian, Semitic, and South American peoples have so little wolf aspects in their culture. On Eternal, you can found single examples of Mesopotamian, Caucasian, Afro – Asiatic, and Old North American cultural connections.

Akkadian (Mezopotamian)
One of the earliest written references to black wolves occurs in the Babylonian epic Gilgamesh, in which the titular character rejects the sexual advances of the goddess Ishtar, reminding her that she had transformed a previous lover, a shepherd, into a wolf, thus turning him into the very animal that his flocks must be protected against.

Chechen (Caucasus)
The wolf is a national symbol of Chechnya. According to folklore, the Chechens are “born of a she-wolf,” as included in the national myth’s central line. The “lone wolf” symbolizes strength, independence, and freedom. A proverb about the teips (sub-clans) is “equal and free like wolves.”
There is one myth that the mythological founder of the Chechen nation, Turpalo-Noxchuo (Chechen Hero, whose Chechens are descended from “like sparks of steel”), was raised by a fabled, loving “Wolf Mother.” Old Chechen lore holds that the sheep were actually created for the wolf to enjoy, but man “stole” the sheep from the wolf (this is rather interesting considering that many Chechens in the past have, in fact, been shepherds). According to the ethnographic historian Jaimoukha, in olden times, Chechens observed a wolf cult that would prevent lupine raids on sheep by observing Saturday as a special day.

Egyptian (Afro – Asiatic)
Wepwawet originally was seen as a wolf deity, thus the Greek name of Lycopolis, meaning city of wolves, and it is likely the case that Wepwawet was originally just a symbol of the pharaoh, seeking to associate with wolf-like attributes, that later became deified as a mascot to accompany the pharaoh. Likewise, Wepwawet was said to accompany the pharaoh on hunts, in which capacity he was titled (one with) sharp arrow more powerful than the gods alone.
The ivory label depicting the pharaoh Den, found at his tomb in Abydos, circa 3000 BC. Originally attached to a pair of royal sandals, which is depicted on the reverse. The side shown here depicts the pharaoh striking down an Asiatic tribesman along with the inscription “The first occasion of smiting the East.” Wepwawet is at the upper right.
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

Over time, the connection to war, and thus to death, led to Wepwawet also being seen as one who opened the ways to, and through, Duat for the spirits of the dead. Through this, and the similarity of the jackal to the wolf, Wepwawet became associated with Anubis, a deity worshiped in Asyut, eventually being considered his son. Seen as a jackal (also his wife Anput), he also was said to be Set’s son. Consequently, Wepwawet often is confused with Anubis. This deity appears in the Temple of Seti I at Abydos.
In later Egyptian art, Wepwawet was depicted as a wolf or a jackal or a man with a wolf or a jackal’s head. Even when considered a jackal, Wepwawet usually was shown with grey, or white fur, reflecting his lupine origins. He was depicted dressed as a soldier and carrying other military equipment, a mace, and a bow.
For what generally is considered to be lauding purposes of the pharaohs, a later myth briefly was circulated claiming that Wepwawet was born at the sanctuary of Wadjet, the sacred site for the oldest goddess of Lower Egypt that is located in the heart of Lower Egypt. Consequently, Wepwawet, who had hitherto been the standard of Upper Egypt alone, formed an integral part of royal rituals, symbolizing Egypt’s unification.
In later pyramid texts, Wepwawet is called “Ra,” who has gone up from the horizon, perhaps as the “opener.” In the later Egyptian funerary context, Wepwawet assists at the Opening of the Mouth ceremony and guides the deceased into the netherworld.

Inuit (Native Americans of Alaska)
Amarok, or Amaroq, is a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology, said to stalk and devour any person foolish enough to hunt alone at night. Unlike wolves who hunt in packs, amaroks hunt alone.
In his book Tales and Traditions of the Eskimo, Rink recounts several folk legends that feature the Amarok.
In one tale, a persecuted and physically stunted boy seeks to increase his strength. When he calls out to the lord of strength, an Amarok appears and wrestles him to the ground with its tail. This causes several small bones to fall from the boy’s body. The Amarok tells the boy that the bones had prevented his growth; he instructs the boy to return daily to develop his strength. After several days of wrestling with the Amarok, the boy is strong enough to overcome three large bears, thus gaining his village’s esteem.
In another story, a man mourning the death of a relative hears reports that an Amarok is nearby. He and a relative go in search of the Amarok. They find her pups instead, and the mourner kills them all. The mourner’s relative becomes frightened—the two retreat to hide in a cave. Looking out, they see the adult Amarok returning to her pups, carrying a reindeer in her mouth. When the Amarok fails to find her offspring, she hastens to a nearby lake and drags a humanoid form from the water; now, the mourner collapses. The Amarok, “from which nothing remains concealed,” took the mourner’s soul from his body.
In some tales, a person captures or kills an Amarok. The myth of the Amarok was most likely originated from the tale ancient Eskimos told about dire wolves.

Native Americans
Wolves figure prominently in the mythology of nearly every Native American tribe. In most Native cultures, Wolf is considered a medical being associated with courage, strength, loyalty, and success at hunting. Like bears, wolves are considered closely related to humans by many North American tribes. Some Northwest Coast tribes’ origin stories, such as the Quileute and the Kwakiutl, tell their first ancestors being transformed from wolves into men. In Shoshone mythology, Wolf plays the noble Creator god’s role, while in Anishinabe mythology, a wolf character is a brother and true best friend of the culture hero. Among the Pueblo tribes, wolves are considered one of the six directional guardians, associated with the east and the color white. The Zunis carve stone wolf fetishes for protection, ascribing to them both healing and hunting powers.
Wolves are also one of the most common clan animals in Native American cultures. Tribes with Wolf Clans include the Creek (whose Wolf Clan is named Yahalgi or Yvhvlke), the Cherokee (whose Wolf Clan name is Aniwahya or Aniwaya,) the Chippewa (whose Wolf Clan and its totem are called Ma’iingan,) Algonquian tribes like the Lenape, Shawnee and Menominee, the Huron and Iroquois tribes, Plains tribes like the Caddo and Osage, Southern tribes like the Chickasaw, the Pueblo tribes of New Mexico, and Northwest Coast tribes like the Tlingit, Tsimshian, and Kwakiutl. Wolf was an important clan crest on the Northwest Coast and can often be carved on totem poles. The wolf is also the special tribal symbol of several tribes and bands, such as the Munsee Delaware, the Mohegans, and the Skidi Pawnee. Some eastern tribes, like the Lenape and Shawnee, have a Wolf Dance among their tribal dance traditions.

Indo – European

In Proto-Indo-European mythology, the wolf was presumably associated with the warrior class, who would “transform into wolves” (or dogs) upon their initiation. This is reflected in Iron Age Europe in the Tierkrieger depictions from the Germanic sphere. Pictures chose for a direct description of cultures; most of them are less applied to arts.

Indic
In the Rig Veda, Ṛjrāśva is blinded by his father as punishment for having given 101 of his family’s sheep to a she-wolf, who in turn prays to the Ashvins to restore his sight.
In the Harivamsa, Krishna, to convince the people of Vraja to migrate to Vṛndāvana, creates hundreds of wolves from his hair, which frighten the inhabitants of Vraja into making the journey. Bhima, the god Vayu’s voracious son, is described as Vrikodara, meaning “wolf-stomached.”

Iranic
According to Zoroastrian legends, Zoroaster as a child was carried by the devs (the gods) to the lair of the she-wolf, in the expectation that the savage beast would kill it; but she accepted it among her own cubs, and Vahman brought an ewe to the den which suckled it. (It was impossible in the Zoroastrian legend for the wolf herself to give milk to the infant since wolves are regarded as devices creatures.) According to the Avesta, the Zoroastrians’ sacred text, wolves are a creation from the ‘darkness’ of the evil spirit Ahriman and are ranked among animals’ cruelest. And belong to the daevas. The Bundahishn, a Middle Persian text on the Zoroastrian creation myth, has a chapter dedicated to the ‘nature of wolves’ as seen in Zoroastrian mythology belief.
Wusuns, an Indo-European semi-nomadic steppe people of Iranian origin, had a legend that after their king Nandoumi was killed by Yuezhi, another Indo-European people, Nandoumi’s infant son Liejiaomi was left in the wild, and He was miraculously saved from hunger being suckled by a she-wolf, and fed meat by ravens.

Germanic
Norse mythology prominently includes three malevolent wolves:
the giant Fenrisulfr or Fenrir, eldest child of Loki and Angrboda, feared and hated by the Æsir, and Fenrisulfr’s children, Sköll and Hati. Fenrir is bound by the gods but is ultimately destined to grow too large for his bonds and devour Odin during the course of Ragnarök. He will be slain by Odin’s son, Viðarr, who will either stab him in the heart or rip his jaws asunder. Fenrir’s two offspring will devour the sun and moon at Ragnarök.
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

However, Geri and Freki were the Norse god Odin’s faithful pets reputed to be “of good omen.”
Wolves were seen as both being negative and positive to the Norse people. On the one hand, they can represent chaos and destruction (e.g., Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati), while on the other hand, they can also represent bravery, loyalty, protection, and wisdom.
In the Hervarar saga, king Heidrek is asked by Gestumblindi (Odin), “What is that lamp which lights up men, but flame engulfs it, and wargs grasp after it always.” Heidrek knows the answer is the Sun, explaining: “She lights up every land and shines over all men, and Skoll and Hatti are called wargs. Those are wolves, one going before the sun, the other after the moon.”
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

Greek – Aegean
The Ancient Lydians associated wolves with the sun god Apollo.
Mount Lykaion is a mountain in Arcadia where an altar of Zeus was located. Zeus Lykaios was said to have been born and brought upon it and was the home of Pelasgus and his son Lycaon, who is said to have founded the ritual of Zeus practiced on its summit. This seems to have involved a human sacrifice and a feast in which the man who received the portion of a human victim was changed to a wolf, as Lycaon had been after sacrificing a child. The sanctuary of Zeus played host to athletic games held every four years, the Lykaia.
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

In Greek mythology, Lycaon was a king of Arcadia who, in the most popular version of the myth, tested Zeus’ omniscience by serving him the roasted flesh of Lycaon’s own son Nyctimus, to see whether Zeus was truly all-knowing.
In return for these gruesome deeds, Zeus transformed Lycaon into a wolf and killed his offspring; Nyctimus was restored to life.
Despite being notorious for his horrific deeds, Lycaon was also remembered as a culture hero: he was believed to have founded the city Lycosura, to have established a cult of Zeus Lycaeus, and to have started the tradition of the Lycaean Games, which Pausanias thinks were older than the Panathenaic Games. According to Gaius Julius Hyginus, Lycaon dedicated the first temple to the Hermes of Cyllene.

Slavic
The wolf as a mythological creature is greatly linked to Balkan and Serbian mythology and cults. It has an important part in Serbian mythology. In the Slavic, old Serbian religion and mythology, the wolf was used as a totem. The wolf is a symbol of fearlessness. Vuk Karadžić explained the traditional, apotropaic use of Vuk (wolf): a woman who had lost several babies in succession would name her newborn son Vuk because it was believed that the witches, who “ate” the babies, were afraid to attack the wolves.

Dacian (moden day Romania)
In his book From Zalmoxis to Genghis Khan, Mircea Eliade attempted to give a mythological foundation to an alleged special relation between Dacians and the wolves:
Dacians might have called themselves “wolves” or “ones the same with wolves,” suggesting religious significance.
Dacians draw their name from a god or a legendary ancestor who appeared as a wolf.
Dacians had taken their name from a group of fugitive immigrants who arrived from other regions or from their own young outlaws, who acted similarly to the wolves circling villages and living from looting. As was the case in other societies, those young community members went through initiation, perhaps up to a year, during which they lived as a “wolf.” Comparatively, Hittite laws referred to fugitive outlaws as “wolves.”
The existence of a ritual that provides one with the ability to turn into a wolf. Such a transformation may be related either to lycanthropy itself, a widespread phenomenon, but attested especially in the Balkans-Carpathian region, or a ritual imitation of the wolf’s behavior and appearance. Such a ritual was presumably a military initiation, potentially reserved for warriors’ secret brotherhood (or Männerbünde). To become formidable warriors, they would assimilate the wolf’s behavior, wearing wolf skins during the ritual. Traces related to wolves as a cult or as totems were found in this area since the Neolithic period, including the Vinča culture artifacts: wolf statues and fairly rudimentary figurines representing dancers a wolf mask. The items could indicate warrior initiation rites or ceremonies that young people put on their seasonal wolf masks. The unity of beliefs about werewolves and lycanthropy exists in the magical-religious experience of mystical solidarity with the wolf.

Ural – Altaic

In Myths of Ural – Altaic people, we usually see Wolf as a mother figure,
there are some exceptions for this in Indo – European ones, but primarily fertility can be more seen in these parts.

Finnish
Unlike fox and bear, the Wolf has been feared and hated in Finland for a long time. The Wolf has been the symbol of destruction and desolation, to the extent that the very name of Wolf in the Finnish language, Susi, also means “a useless thing,” and the by-name hukka means perdition and annihilation. While bear has been the sacred animal of Finns, Wolves have been hunted and killed mercilessly for a long time. The Wolf has been represented as an implacable and malicious predator, killing more than it manages to eat.

Japanese
In Japanese mythology, In the Shinto belief, the ōkami (Wolf) is regarded as a messenger of the kami,
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan
Grain farmers once worshiped wolves at shrines and left food offerings near their dens, beseeching them to protect their crops from wild boars and deer. Talismans and charms adorned with Wolves’ images were thought to protect against fire, disease, and other calamities and brought fertility to agrarian communities and couples hoping to have children. The Ainu people believed that they were born from the union of a Wolf-like creature and a goddess.

Okami (Okami-no-kami) in the Kojiki, or the Nihon Shoki: Kuraokami or Okami
who are a legendary Japanese dragon and Shinto deity of rain and snow? In Japanese mythology, the sibling progenitors Izanagi and Izanami gave birth to Japan’s islands and gods. After Izanami died from burns during the childbirth of the fire deity Kagu-tsuchi, Izanagi was enraged and killed his son. According to different versions of the legend, Kagutsuchi’s blood or body created several other deities, including Kuraokami.

Mongolian

In the Secret History of the Mongols, the Mongol peoples have descended from the mating of a doe (gua maral) and a Wolf (boerte chino). In modern Mongolia, the Wolf is still seen as a good luck symbol, especially for males.
Mongol mythology explains Wolf’s occasional habit of surplus killing by pointing to their traditional creation story. It states that when God explained to the Wolf what it should and should not eat, he told it that it might eat one sheep out of 1,000. The Wolf, however, misunderstood and thought God said, kill 1,000 sheep and eat one.

Korean
Bul-Gae (Korean: 불 개 Fire Dog), the mythical Fire Dogs in Korean mythology, are dog beasts from the kingdom of darkness that chase the sun and moon, causing eclipses when they bite both the celestial bodies.
In Korean mythology, the cosmological narratives and legends, such as the “Isik, Wolsik” legend, explain the Bul-Gae dogs’ eclipse phenomenon.

According to the myth recorded in the Hangugui-Seolwo (Folk Myths from Korea), there were many realms of heaven. One of them, the kingdom of darkness, was called Gamangnara (the Dark World). The king of Gamangnara got weary with darkness and desired the light of the sun and moon. He sent one of the gigantic fiery hounds, the Bul-Gae, belonging to one of his dark world subjects, to chase the sun and bring it to his realm. However, when the Bul-gae tried to bite the sun, the sun was too hot, burning the dog’s mouth, and the Bul-Gae had to let it go. The king of darkness got angry and then sent another, more ferocious Bul-Gae to fetch the moon at least. When the Bul-Gae bit the moon, the moon was too cold, freezing the dog´s mouth, and the Bul-Gae had to let it go as well, which infuriated their master. The king always sends his dogs, they try to fetch the light, but they always fail and run back to Gamangnara. When the Bulgae bites the sun, it is called a solar eclipse; when they bite the moon, it is a lunar eclipse. During eclipses, the dark parts covering the sun and moon were believed to be the parts bitten and covered by the Bul-Gae’s mouths.

This myth is quite reminiscent of the Nordic myth of the chtonic, giant, monstrous Sköll wolf, which always hunts Sol, the sun goddess and will eat her at Ragnarok, and his brother Hati, who serves the same role with Máni, the personified moon. The Bul-Gae myth also shares similarities with the Hinduistic serpent villain, Rahu, who chases the sun and tries to swallow it, creating solar eclipses, as well as the Slavic mythology dragon-serpents Zmej, that try to swallow the sun in the sky during rainstorms and can absorb and steal the power of the sun by sunbathing.

As it was seen appearance-wise, Bulgae is the closest candidate for the Argenta Wolves appearance.

Romans
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan
According to Herodotus, after the war of Troy
(Troia – Çanakkale Dardanelles)
refugees of early Romans migrated to modern-day Italy. (these not only limited to the Trojan war, unlike what heredot told)
As they start to live, they began to take inspiration from local Etruscan people – Etruria (today’s Tuscany). Then they (maybe rulers themself) attributed some local legend elements. Like the Roman emperor family tree. The legends spanning its way all to Jupiter and his continued lineage, so on and so forth.

They did this by combining elements of local people’s folklore and folklore before migration.
Early Greek, Lydia – Hittite cultures, possible influence as Lydia, Apollo’s main praying community, and their association with Wolves
local Etruscans diminished over the time of wars and conflicts. However, their ancient beliefs still reside in those lands.

In Roman mythology, Wolves are mainly associated with Mars, the God of war and agriculture.
The twin babies were ordered to be killed by their great uncle Amulius. The servant ordered to kill them; however, they relented and placed the two babies on the Tiber river banks.
The river, which was in flood, rose and gently carried the cradle and the twins downstream. Under the protection of the river deity Tiberinus, a she-wolf known as Lupa in Latin would be adopted by an animal sacred to Mars.
The Capitoline Wolf nurses Romulus and Remus, sons of Mars and future founders of Rome.
Time passes, a Shepard raises twins without their identity, and eventually, they take their revenge on their uncle.
When they arrive home, they couldn’t decide which hill empire will be set upon. Two brothers clashes, and.
Romulus kills his twin brother, then announces his rule as the First emperor of Rome as this was the tale of the city name and first emperors mythical story.

As a consequence, the İtalian Wolf is the national animal of the modern Italian Republic.
In Antiquity, the she-wolf was identified as a symbol of Rome by both the Romans themselves and nations under the Roman rule. The Wolf’s special status was not based on national ideology but was connected to Wolf’s religious importance to the Romans.

Turkic
As with most ancient people’s beliefs, the Wolf was thought to possess spiritual powers and that parts of its body retained specific powers that could be used by people for various needs.
In the mythology of the Turkic peoples, Wolf is a revered animal. In Turkic mythology, Wolves were believed to be the ancestors of their people. The Bozkurt (Grey Wolf) legend is an old Turkic myth that tells how the Turkic people were created. (Tellings of this event can differ from many Turkic peoples to another, but the main story is the same)
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan
Aproxemently in Northern China, a small Turkic village was raided by Chinese soldiers, but one small baby was left behind. An old She-Wolf with a sky-blue mane found the baby and nursed him; then the She-Wolf gave birth to half-Wolf, half-human cubs, from whom the Turkic people were born.
After some generations, increased attacks and drought led to a huge joined exodus.
It is believed that a Gray Wolf (probably one that saved the child or one from shes lineage) showed the Turks the way to their legendary homeland Ergenekon, but to do this, Turkic people must pass through a mountain.

Wolf has led them to the passage, but it was too thin for humans. So to fit, it is said that they molted the whole iron mountain to pass it as the whole federation.
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

Which, in turn, allowed them to spread and conquer their neighbors.
The passing from the iron mountain is close time to the start of the Spring season. this led to celebrations of Nevruz festivals. (Start of spring)

the main reason for this goes back to the ’90s; the thing is, at first, there was no Doom planned to be made. Rather, in fact, the planed game was an Alien licensed movie game, but things did not go as planned, and boy, 30 years later, here we are… I still don’t like this suit 😛

“Hold Skip, PhotoMode, NO AMMO!” indication disable the function.
The Photomode indicator can be transferred to the menu and can be toggled from there.
-Skippable “Unskippable cutscenes” like door opening etc., maybe “FPS Cutscenes” toggle?
-Not intensity. Being able to change Glory Kill and Ammo drop Colors.
-Mouse scroll controls and Weapon wheel slide controls cooperation Fix.
-Being able to unlock passed “Series skins” after some time.
In-game Skin changing both for Slayer and Enemies.
-Seeing Enemy info’s like Movement, HP at Model Viewer.

Horde Mode, increased and powerful enemy count kind of will look like İnvasion mode.
-Removable 1UP mode for hardcore playthroughs and Fixing 1UP last chance Rune interaction.
-Disableable Upgrades
-Newgame+ equipment placements, for example, the crucible
-Old trailer encounters? maybe like Cyberdemon on Hebeth and Archvile at BFG.10.000

Lastly, 3RD Stage for İcon of sin boss fight,
maybe Doomslayer can combine Balista destroyer blade shot with BFG to cut this thicc boi. When he falls from the skyscraper, he can mutate into this form, and the final battle can begin IDK

Old Weapon models return maybe as DLC?
Crucible \ Chainsaw hit Decal glow map for Crucible.
-HUGE Glowmap size increase for BFG comparable to the Destroyerblade
New Crucible \ Chainsaw skins, for example, Guitars, Demonic 2016, etc., probably for Marauder too.

-BFG Removal From Weapon wheel or Mouse Scroll setting the input to it. The mouse scroll to Unmaykr can stay, or the mod swap button can do the job too.

-Fast, instant weapon wheel maybe an upgrade for it or toggle select mode with a separate last weapon button
BFG chainsaw ammo drop Rune’s return.
Chanisaw regenerates up to 3 Bar after some long wait.
-Being able to Chainsaw Glory highlighted enemies regardless of Fuel.
Bloodpunch mob push Ragdoll.
-New Charged Bloodpunch, as a collaboration with Armblade slash, can have Destroyer Blade effect
Crucible Left Right İnverted animations.
-Being able to open Crucible while Berserk powerup.
-Doing Regular Glory kill animations While in Berserk with the “Use” button.
-Similar to Bloodpunch’s “Chargeable Crucible,” this can happen with Chainsaw kills.
-Switchable fists or Bloodpunch Overdrive infused only fist Rage-mode with impact damage.
And without kill animations, glory kills dependability to choice. This mode can be Charged with Crucible kills.

ENEMIES

Summoner – Harvester – Hell Guard – Parasites (maybe reanimate fallen enemies) – Hell Razer
Red Baron of Hell – Chitin Mancubus – Orange Imp – Possessed Soldiers – Old Revenant – Old Unwilling

2016 Mobs Reappearing in Eternal as DLC maybe toggleable and maybe even old models from first trailers, ex. Knight lookalike imp.
Prowler Rework similar to 2016’s Multiplayer.
Chared Baron of Hell’s Rework as a two-stage boss like Doomhunter. He will ignite his Blades after some damage as Rage-mode same can apply to Cyber Hell Knight.
Like Cacodemon Countering (new) charged firing Tyrant with BFG shots,
maybe we can disable the arm cannon and fight with his new stage after the interaction. This can make it use crucible as two use-dependent weapons against Cyber.
DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

-Rocket launcher weakness to Pain Elemental similar to grenade Cacodemon
-New more H. Knight Lookalike Cyber Hell Knight.
Random tentacles locations, not Preplaced for Reflex check.
Enhanced Gore mode (for riping Arms, Leg, increased blood, etc.)

MARAUDER

Marauder fight without Depending on Foddler enemies MONO e MONO.
-For the Mono e Mono thing, if we run out of ammo, Players can Chainsaw his shield for ammo (You know he carries shotgun ammo). Maybe this can disable it for some time.DOOM Eternal - Doom Eternal Religion Language Mythology İnfluences Wiki Cultural History Artstyle Background Encyclopedia by Raidencan

-Marauder Healing ritual animation. In this State, he can summon Transformed Op DOGE.
Crucibles own Marauder fight mechanic Close combat Hack and Slash
Bloodpunch to put his Shield down for a small second.

BATTLE MODE

– 2v2 Hell Demons vs. Hell Demons
– 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 Sentinel Hero vs Sentinel Hero modes

-Direct summon buttons similar to MOBA’s deployment system instead of selecting, scrolling, then Summoning.

-Battlemode damage number indicator options, similar to Apex legends (Off, Stacking, Floating, Both)

If somebody indulges in battle mode, other players who left on the battlefield must be buffed to deal with slayer solo.
Maybe with fewer cooldowns or double HP or DMG increase or DMG Reduction for demons.

-Mancubus can have the last round upgrade to the Cyber Mancubus.

-Maybe we can play as Fodder enemies like imps or heavy demons like hell knight etc.
Damage output and health pool must be done to Respawn times and vice versa.
The important thing here is that there must not be two fodder enemies as players because one can be on the other side of the map, and by the time reaching it, the other one can spawn in because of a short time.

I can probably concept this on enemy types later as another guide.

-Doomhunter and Super slow, super buff non-fodder spawning Tyrant must be implemented to the battle mode alongside other semi heavies like whiplash, etc.
Baron maybe Red Baron can be implemented, or as I stated above, it can have blade rage mode in the battle match or blade toggles for close combat idk. it can have a lunge attack and fireballs too.

-New gameplay types can be added to the Demons.
For example, instead of ax \ shotgun marauder, we can see his shield implemented onto the game, like his single-player counterpart, as a defense character.
He can blast energy spikes from afar and melee whenever slayer close with his shield in this playstyle. Brigitte from overwatch is a good example of this.
Also, smoke \ flamethrower Mancubus can have burned on contact napalm and close ground energy blast types.
lock on lost soul shieldless Pain Elemental
multiple spawn – teleport only Archvile
melee Revenant idk I didn’t think much about him

“Quick Switching” is not a Skill here. I said it. (Finished on Ultra Nightmare)

Battlemode needs a Nerf to Switch Time or Ballista \ ARSniper combo. Some people abuse the system, m, and many other benefits from this system
it’s not skilled. It’s just aim tracing and switching weapons. Please fix damage output or lessen the ammo count for related weapons its bad to see a red-lined player who joins and kills mancubus around 4 seconds. It doesn’t make sense.

!!! Urgent MATCHMAKİNG fix!!!

For instance, why 4 enemies have dual arm blades Doomslayer, too, anyway. Remove platforming and momentum slowing nonsense; sure, goof can stay but don’t overdo it.
