This is a short guide on how to enable the controller for Dvinity Original Sin EE

The Problem

When playing the game, you are not able to use the Controller specific controls. This renders the game nearly unplayable.

The Workaround

Step #1:

Open the destkop mode by holding the power switch and selecting switch to desktop

Step #2:

Open the file explorer

Step #3:

On the left side, under devices, select rootfs

Step #4:

Navigate to: usr -> lib

Step #5:

Find the file libSDL2-2.0.so.0 and copy that file

Step #6:

Navigate to the game folder (e.g. by opening steam, Library > Divinity > Right Click > Local Files > Browse…)

Step #7:

Delete the existing libSDL2-2.0.so.1

Step #8:

Paste the copied libSDL2-2.0.so.0

Step #9:

Rename libSDL2-2.0.so.0 to libSDL2-2.0.so.1

Step #10:

Restart your Deck (at least I had to restart it or the game wouldn’t start)
