So I loved Warmind Cells before they got nerfed and I wanted to find a way to make them work with the Void 3.0 changes.

Subclass, Aspects and Fragments

Subclass

Void with Ward of Dawn

You can also use Sentinel Shield

For harder Content I just preferred Ward of Dawn

Aspects

Controlled Demolition and Bastion

For Over shield and Volatile targets

Fragments

Echo of Undermining

(Your Void grenades weaken targets)

Echo of Persistence

(Overshields last longer)

Echo of Domineering

(After suppressing a target you gain Mobility and your equipped weapon is reloaded from reserves)

Mods

  • Wrath of Rasputin(Solar splash damage final blows have a chance to create Warmind Cells)
  • Cellular Suppression(Damaging a Warmind Cell creates a burst of suppressing Void energy)
  • Suppressive Darkness(Whenever you suppress a combatant, you also weaken them, causing them to take additional damage for a short time)
  • Warminds Protection(You take reduced damage from enemies that are near Warmind Cells)
  • Power of Rasputin(You gain a bonus to weapon damage against enemies that are near Warmind Cells)
  • Global Reach(Warmind Cells you create affect and damage targets at a greater distance)

Exotics

The Path of Burning Steps

So Solar kills have a chance of granting 1 Stack of Firewalker. Firewalker Stacks will give us more Weapon Damage depending on the amount of Stacks.

1 = 20%

2 = 25%

3 = 35%

4 = 40%

(in PVE)

Gjallarhorn

Rounds fired split into tracking cluster missiles upon detonation. So cause it splits into cluster missiles we get 4 Stacks of Firewalker with one shot (If there is a group of 4 or more ads). This will also spawn a Warmind Cell.

So how does it work ?

So we get a Solar kill with Gjallarhorn which will give us (depending on the group of ads) 2-4 Stacks of Firewalker (25%-40% weapon damage). This will also spawn a Warmind Cell.

That Cell will cause other enemies to deal 50% less damage if they are near that Cell (10 meters). Thanks to Power of Rasuptin we will deal 10 % more damage to all enemies near the Cell.

So if we shoot that Warmind Cell with a Scout Rifel or any other weapon we will suppress enemies within 30 meters for 2 seconds (4s cooldown) and with Suppressive Darkness we will also weaken them.

I use Explosive Personality to spawn the Cell and get the Firewalker stacks. Then I shoot the Cell with my Scout and then with 4 Stacks of Firewalker, Power of Rasputin, and the weakening debuff on I take Gjallarhorn and remove all left overs out of the game.

Weapons and Mods

Weapons

You don’t have to use Gjallarhorn for it ! It will work with many other Solar weapons.

For example:

SunShot

Ticuus Divination

Dead Messenger

Xenophage (maybe better in next Season)

Eyes of Tomorrow (also better next Season)

Mods

Some other small mods I use which don’t make a lot of impact:

Solar Siphon

Rapid Solar kills create an Orb of Power

Better Already

Picking up an Orb of Power triggers Health regeneration
