Simple instructions on how to catch the four essential fish for the fisherman’s side quest.

The Fisherman

Early in the game, the Fisherman NPC may be found on the southeast side of Pilgrim’s Passage. He requests that you bring him a series of seafood, including lobster, squid, octopus, and crab. He will give you a piece of a holy talisman for every fish you bring. Once you have delivered all fish to him, he will open a shop to sell you fish.

How to Fish

In Cult of the Lamb, fishing is a very easy thing to do. All you have to do is keep the hook inside the green bar as it goes up and down. Keeping the hook in the green area will bring the fish closer, and when it’s close enough, you’ll catch it. It might take some time to get the hang of it, but once you do, you can do it every time.

The Trick

When you are making a new doctrine, you can choose from 5 different options. To get the Ritual of the Ocean’s Bounty, just level up sustenance to level 3. This ritual will double the number of fish caught for 2 days and greatly increase the chances of catching special fish, like the lobster. From what I’ve seen, this is also a great way to get a lot of coins.
