Characters:

Sephiroth – Octaslash

Ability: Deals damage one enemy.

Unlocked by: Automatically at the start

Angeal – Rush Assault

Ability: Deals physical defense-ignorant damage to up to three enemies.

Unlocked by: Automatically at start

Tseng – Air Strike

Ability: Deals damage all enemies.

Unlocked by: Automatically at Chapter 2

Cloud – Meteor Shots

Ability: Deals damage all enemies.

Unlocked by: Automatically in Chapter 5.

Aerith – Healing Wave

Ability: You can become invincible and cure Poison, Silence, and Curse. HP / MP/ AP equal to the maximum amount is restored.

Unlocked by: Automatically at the game’s beginning

Cissnei – Lucky Stars

Ability: Activates Critical and raises Limit Gauge level. The level increase equals the level for Lucky Stars.

Unlocked by: Automatically at Chapter 3.

Genesis – Apocalypse

Ability: Deals damage all enemies.

Unlocked by: Automatically at Chapter 5.

Summons & Other DMW Unlocks:

Ifrit – Hellfire

Ability: Deals magic defense-ignoring damage to all enemies.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-1-1 : Rematch with Ifrit

Bahamut – Megaflare

Ability: Deals magic defense-ignoring damage to all enemies.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-1: Rematch with Bahamut

Bahamut Fury – Exaflare

Ability: Deals magic defense-ignoring damages to all enemies.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-5-6 Treasure Info 6.

Odin – Zantetsuken

Ability: Deaks Death effect to enemies present

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-1: Mystery Materia.

Phoenix – Rebirth Flame (This one can be missed dmw!)

Ability: Deals magic defense-ignoring damage to all enemies and activates Raise

Unlocked by: In Nibelheim, Chapter 8, talk to the boy with an orange exclamation mark on the town square. You will be able to see the first seven wonders. When you interact with the water tower in the middle, Phoenix will be revealed.

Chocobo – Chocobo Stomp

Ability: Deals with all enemies and does not deal with physical defense.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-4-1 Suspicious mail 1.

Kactuar – 1,000 Needles

Ability: Deals damage all enemies.

Unlocked by: Go on to mission 3-1-3, walk towards genesis boss, but don’t start the fight yet. Turn 180 and go left. There is a kaktuar. It can be defeated. You unlock new missions. To unlock the 10-1 missions, eliminate the Copies. Complete Mission 10-1-3: Cactuar Found?.

Tonberry – Murderous Thrust

Ability: Deals with one enemy’s physical defense, but ignores their damage.

Unlocked by: Defeat Tonberry in Mission 6-1-5 to unlock the 10-2 missions. Complete Mission 10-2-3: Master Tonberry.

Cait Sith – Courage Boost!

Ability: Cures Poison and Silence and activates Barrier and MBarrier and Endure, MP and AP Cost Zero, as well as Null Physical/Magic.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-4-3 Suspicious mail 3.

Moogle – Moogle power

Ability: Increases the level of all equipped material and activates Regen. The level increase equals the level for “Moogle Power”.

Unlocked by: Complete Mission 8-4-4 Suspicious mail 4.

Magic Pot – Item mugger

Ability: Obtain certain materials or items.

Unlocked by: Meet a Magic Pot and use its four abilities(to equip them before you join this mission. JUMP, FIRA GRAVITY, GRAVITY, & ASSAULT WISTER). In Mission 10-2-3, Master Tonberry is the easiest and earliest Magic Pot to do this against. Run until you find a Magic Pot. The Magic Pot will instruct you to use these skills in the right order. You will be rewarded with Jump, Fira Gravity, Assault Twister if it asks.

This achievement should be achieved for all DMWs.

How to make leveling up all DMWs easier to 100%

How to get all DMWs up to 100%

DMW characters have a progress bar that can appear anywhere from 0% to 100%, depending on their character. These can be viewed from the menu.

DMWs can be skipped, but it does not affect their count toward your DMW level.

You must have six memories for each character: Sephiroth (Angeal, Tseng Cloud, Cissnei and Aerith).

You will need to see only two memories for Genesis.

To instantly jump to 100% for Summons or Chocobo Mode Characters, you will only need to see their summon animation one time.

All DMWs can be 100%, even in the last chapter!

Material can make DMWs look easier.

These materia can be found later in the game in shops.

shops:

Research Dept. QMC+: From Gongaga Village, Chapter 10. Missable. Sells the material needed for Sephiroth and Angeal, Tseng Cloud, Aerith, Cissnei, and Cloud.

Net Shop Shade: Available from Mission 9-5-4; sells Genesis DMW materia.

Bone Village: Unlocked via Mission 7-5-3. Sells DMW summon materia.

Once you have gotten all your DMWs to 100 percent, you can get.

All DMWs must be made progress at 100%
