What is Prime Status?

Prime status is an upgrade available to every CS:GO player. Prime Status puts you in matches with people that have also acquired Prime. This helps to put you in games without cheaters, and with people who want to play the game properly.

How do I get Prime?

There is multiple ways to get prime, here’s how: 

• The free way, achieve level 21 to get it.
• The paid way, buy it
• The OG way, buy CS:GO before the game came free.

If you buy Prime, you get access to CS:GO SDK. Which basically gives you Hammer editor, face poser, and model viewer. Hammer editor is used to make maps, so if you want to make a map, you need to pay for Prime to get Hammer. You can also pay for Prime if you already have it.

If you buy CS:GO before it came free, you most likely already know this but you get a Loyalty Badge. This badge is only obtainable by purchasing CS:GO before it came free. With the Loyalty Badge, you are also awarded with free Prime Status.
