When you play Core Keeper your farming items or armor or any items you use them will get broken, if you just started playing Core Keeper the items is easy to craft them back but when you reach a high place example Iron items will start to be painful just to craft new ones.
To repair your items you will need Scrap Parts and in this guide, I will explain to you how to get cheap Scrap Parts
How to Repair broken Items?
To be able to repair your broken items you gonna need Salvage and Repair Station and Scrap Parts (Please check more down how to get Scrap Parts easy)
To craft Salvage and Repair Station go to your Basic Workbench and craft Salvage and Repair Station from there
After you craft the Salvage and Repair Station you can use this table to Salvage your items for Scrap Parts or/and repair your broken items
Pressing the Blue Hammer will open the option to repair your items with Hammer, click the broken items and repair them, but make sure you have the Scrap Parts on your inventory to be able to repair.
How to get Scrap Parts?
After you craft the Salvage and Repair Station table the cheapest way to get Scrap Parts is by crafting Wood Helm by using the Copper Anvil and will cost you only 7 Wood
You can craft Copper Anvil by using Basic Workbench
Open Copper Anvil and craft multiple Wood Helm for only 7 Wood each
After you craft, the Wood Helm go to your Salvage and Repair Station and place the Wood Helms there and press Salvage items
And you gonna get for only 7 wood 1 scrap parts, this is the cheapest way I see to get the scrap parts on Core Keeper
