NOTE: SPOILERS BEFORE !!!! Unless you want things to be done for you, DO NOT USE THIS GUIDE!
 
ACHIEVEMENTS ARE SOMEWHAT GLITZED AND DO NOT ALWAYS LOCK WHEN IT SHOULD. UNTIL PUBLISHER PUTS in a FIX, CLOSING THE GAME IS RECOMMENDED.
 
 
Another thing to note is the secret tape/ending. This can be QUITE a pain to TRIGGER UNLIKE ALL OTHERS. I DID MY BEST to walk you through it all and relieve any frustrations/games that were not as expected. I HAVE TRIVIALY HAD THAT TAPE SPAWN DIFFERENT TIMES DURING DIFFERENT PLAYTHROUGHS. THE ONE I SPELLED OUT TO YOU IN THE GUIDE WAS THE MOST COMMON OCCURRENCE, AND THAT MIGHT BE DIFFERENT for YOU.
 
 
This is a fun game, even in its current state. However, it does require some patching. I HOPE THIS GUIDE HELPES. ENJOY~!
 
 

Bad ending

 
(NOTE – If you are not playing for the first time, the attendant will simply say "welcome back" to knock you out)
 
 
Pay for gas at a gas station
 
 
Go to the pump and discover it is broken.
 
 
You are now being attacked/knocked out as you go back to the gas station.
 
 
You will be able to get up in the basement of the station, shackled on your bed, and you will be able to get out of bed.
 
 
Your captor will be alerted if you smash the picture frame near the bed.
 
 
Click on the bed to make it appear that you are asleep and don't get up again until he is completely out of sight.
 
 
Take a piece of broken glass and place it on the table.
 
 
Take the key and use the broken glass to fix the couch. Click on the spot again to fix the couch. Or your captor might notice and kill you.
 
 
Grab VHS tape from the shelf to the right of your TV and use the key on the shackles to unlock them.
 
 
Put VHS tape into VCR.
 
 
Take the batteries and turn your back to the desk.
 
 
Turn on the TV by going back to the couch.
 
 
We immediately see the date 5/27. This is the combination to the bathroom door lock. Turn the TV off using the remote.
 
 
Use the combination to unlock the lock by going to the basement bathroom door.
 
 
You will see a hanging corpse. You will be alerted once more by the captor so be ready.
 
 
Quickly close the bathroom door. Run back to your bed and re-shackle. Then, fall asleep again.
 
 
Once captor has gone and the sound is normal, get up and go to the bathroom to get the hairpin to unlock upstairs.
 
 
Follow the road to the right from the station to the small building and the altar.
 
 
Take the knife from the altar, and walk back towards gas station.
 
 
Your captor will soon be visible, and start running at your face. But before he can get close to you, he is grabbed and held by a monster.
 
 
You have been taken by the captor and your keys have been left behind. Get them back and go to the station where you parked your car.
 
 
The monster will be difficult to avoid on your return to the parked vehicle. However, he can be easily avoided by running on either the left or right side.
 
 
You will be killed if you are hit by the monster, but you can still start the game from the altar or small building. All you have to do is grab the knife and repeat the steps.
 
 
You will be rewarded with the bad ending if you make it to your car.
 
 
 

Secret Ending

Watch the tape in the basement.
 
 
To find the tape in the dumpster, go upstairs.
 
 
This tape can be taken back to the basement. It will show you the door behind the gas station.
 
Turn left behind the gas station and go into this door.
 
 
Now, you will fall through 2 floors into an office-type maze.
 
 
You can find the exit by following either all right or left turns. It is easy to find and there is no other interest so you don't have to look.
 
 
After you have exited through the door, you will be back in the room, shackled once more and then attacked by a monster.
 
 
This will lead to the Secret ending achievement.
 
 
 

Good Ending

Run quickly to the bathroom and close it.
 
 
Once captor has gone and the sound is normal, get up and go to the bathroom to get the hairpin to unlock upstairs.
 
 
Follow the road to the right from the station to the small building and the altar.
 
 
Before you reach the small building and the altar, look for a hidden path to your left and continue on that path. You will find a small house equipped with a TV and a dining table with a gun inside.
 
Take the gun with you and go back to the small building and the altar.
 
 
Once you have reached the small building, go inside and get the bullets. The gun will be loaded immediately and you can shoot as much as you like.
 
 
You will still need to grab the knife from the altar, and then walk back towards the gas station in order to trigger the captor scene and the monster scene.
 
 
Your captor will soon be visible, and start running at your face. But before he can get close to you, he is grabbed in a terrifying trap by a monster.
 
 
You have been taken by the captor and your keys have been left behind. Get them back and go to the station where you parked your car.
 
 
This time, you will shoot the monster as you return to your parked car.
 
 
You will be killed if you are hit by the monster, but you can still start the game from the altar or small building. All you have to do is grab the gun/knife and repeat the steps.
 
 
You will be rewarded with the good ending achievement if you make it to your car.
 
 
 

All VHS tapes and where to locate them:

1.VHS tape located on the shelf to the right TV in the Gas Station Basement. This will give you the code for the door lock.
 
 
2. (XXX) VHS tape in the area behind the pump.
 
 
3. Secret Tape is located in the dumpster behind Gas Station. This will unlock the back door to the station after you have watched.
 
 
4. To the right of the small house is a dance tape. This is where you will find the gun. You can take it to the basement to watch the never-ending dance off.
