(Step 1 – Folder setup & activating the mods browser.

The First Step (Do not skip this guide otherwise, the mod won’t work correctly)

If you have Red Alert 3 on your computer, launch it in the skirmish mode first. Sometimes the “Mods folder fails to appear or the browser will not detect mods that you have installed.

(This maybe because the mods folder is connecting with replays, sometimes it doesn’t show up at all after you’ve named the “Mods” folder.)

1 – Go to your games library > Properties > General >

Below the “Launch Options” type ” -ui ”

Close the tab.

3. On your computer Go to C: \ Users Admin Documents \ Red Alert 3

Create a folder named “Mods”.

(Step 2) Installing the Gen Evo Mod

The second step (Do not skip this step otherwise, the mod won’t work correctly)

1. 1. Type ” Generals Evolution” on Moddb.

You can see ” Command And Conquer: Generals Evolution – Red Alert 3″.

Find the latest update

(The latest version of as of writing is ” Generals Evolution Beta 0.3 ” ).

Once you have extracted the mod to the “Mods folder”, click the “Mods” button.

Double-click “Gen_Evo” to open the program.

4 – Hit Next and accept and wait for it to finish install.

(Step 3 3. Installing 4GB patch to prevent pink glitches

Step 3 (THIS Important)

1 – You’ll need to install ” C&C 4GB Auto-Patcher v1.00.”

(this is to prevent pink glitches in GenEvo (this is to avoid pink glitches for GenEvo, and also helps avoid any RA3 or C&C3 mods from crashing).

The process is easy once you have opened the tool and chosen the game you want to patch.

And there you go.

The final Step is Important

Launching the game using the shortcut

It is recommended to start the mod using the GenEvo Shortcut.

(Do not launch the mod from the game’s browser because it will cause issues when there are many effects.)
