The Story / Foreword
Humankind, in the process of evolution, has encountered a mysterious phenomenon - the destruction of the normal flow of time. From the past to the future, time rifts are forming in Earth's atmosphere. These rifts lead to different periods of history. Through them the most aggressive creatures from the past, present, and the future, have begun to infiltrate our time. These mutants, known as Timestrikers, have begun a complete and systemic eradication of all human life. You are a specially trained commando who has been volunteered to investigate a recent attack by the Timestrikers. Utilizing an arsenal of devastating weapons and mysterious items from the past and the future, you have been authorized to terminate any mutant creatures that attempt to obstruct your investigation. Each assignment gets you closer to the heart of your goal. A mission briefing gets you moving in the right direction, but it’s up to you to carry out your orders. Grab your weapon and report to the Commander immediately!

Chasm: The Rift contains a total 20 secrets in its five episodes. The player can find all of them and receive a bonus. ‘Every Nook, Every Cranny’ achievement. This guide lists 27 secrets or “points of interest” that can be considered.
I had already found 90% of them when the developers introduced the overall tracker to the secrets with Patch 1 – I am no longer capable of verifying which items I list are required to achieve the achievement. (The on-screen messages to find them are) Which of them can be called extra? However, I want to improve the guide and would appreciate suggestions from new players. (i.e. Commenting on which of these do not trigger the relevant message on-screen) .
Note that 8 maps are missing (from the 19 including the expansion pack,) They do not contain any discernible secrets, so they are not included in the guide.
E1: The Condemnation
M01: THE POWER STATION
01 – Search for a barrel near the helipad. To reach the room with double health, shoot the barrel or jump over it. Continue exploring the tunnels to find an armor suit.
M02: THE MILITARY BASE
02 – After passing through the gates, shoot the panel on the left to reveal an armor suit.
03 – Shoot the panels to your right in the room next to the refrigerator to find double health.
04 – – Continue to the next area. Follow the path to find an armor suit. Shoot the grates that you come across.
05 – Use the nearby crates to find the invisibility powerup hidden in the warehouse.
E2: In Search of Inception
M07: THE TOMB of DEATH
06 – Cross the lava pit and turn around. Pull the switches on the opposite sides. Return to the pit and grab the double health and the volcano ammunition from the left alcove.
07 – While still in the pit, grab the grenader as well as the ammo from the other alcove. Then pull down the lever inside. This will allow you to collect the reflector power-up, which is otherwise difficult to reach. It can be found in the next area.
E3: The Shadow Zone
M09: THE CITY of DANDER
08 – Jump through the window near the beginning point to access a large side area. You will need to fight for the building at the end that houses two wheels. To reveal an armor suit, a knife gun, and lots of ammunition inside, shoot the wall at the back of the last room.
09 – Once inside the inn, search for an armor suit at the lower floor. To find a mega destroyer, and some ammo, destroy the wall that is next to the stairs.
10 – Find a book to pull from the library to unlock the stash in the nearby tunnels.
11 – Look for another book and pull it in the second library to reveal a hidden compartment containing a double health.
12 – After entering the temple, search for the key to the city gates in the same room as the crucifix. To access the nearby armor suit, press it.
M10: THE FORTRESS of DESOLATION
13 – Once you have reached the waste tunnels, turn left to grab the double health.
M11: SUBTERRANEAN HORROR
14 – Pull on the lever located before the silver key doors and return to the adjacent area to grab the mega destroyer and some ammo.
M12: PHANTOM’S KEEP
15 – Just before you pass the bridge that leads towards the boss, turn around to shoot the portion of the wall between two torches to reveal an alcove.
E4: The Stronghold of Evil
M13: THE WEIRD DIMENSION
16 – Shoot the two switches necessary for progression. Return to the beginning room and grab the newly revealed double-health.
17 – Once you are outside, turn right to photograph the panel at the end the hall. This will reveal a reflector power up.
M14: FORSAKEN IN TIMES
18 – You will see two scorpions emerge from the closet behind the panel as you grab the super shotgun at the beginning area. To reveal a stash ammo, kill them and shoot the panel in their middle.
19 – Once you have cleared the red keycard maze, you will find a nearby compartment that has a double health.
20 – Go to the room with the circular column and shoot the panel near the switch to reach an armor suit behind it.
M15: ABREAST WITH TTERROR
21 – Jump over the barrels in the corner to find a hidden power-up for chojin and a box with shells.
22 – Continue in the same area and continue to the crate-filled hall after pulling the switch in the central room. The switch at the end of the hall is now visible. To reach the northeast teleporter hub, return to the original teleporter hub. Step into the northeast one to access a side area that contains an armor suit and a grenader.
23 – Enter the teleporter hub again. This time, go through the southeastern portal. Stick to the right wall while you are being sucked through a vacuum to find a hidden stash.
E5: Expansion Package
M18: CASTLE MOIDODYR
24 – While you are traversing the southeastern corridor, shoot to your right the lit portion of the wall to reveal a secret room with a chojin power-up as well as some ammo.
25 – Look for a switch as you climb the stairs leading to the red keycard. Shoot it to reveal a hidden room in which a mega-destroyer resides.
26 – The red keycard triggers an ambush from the behind when you pick it up. You can also find an invisibility power-up in the closet. Grab it by going back to the floor.
27 – Pull the lever in the same area once more before exiting the level. Then, return to the starting place through the northern halls. You should now be able to access the stash behind the door.
