Welcome. This Blood Bowl 3 – Starting Rosters Build Guide was written to be useful to you, and we genuinely hope it is.

Start Rosters

Orcs have been for a long time one of the most loved teams in the Blood Bowl and there are numerous rosters to pick from. Knowing which team to choose and which to leave can be difficult. However I will present the most popular starting rosters that I have seen. Some builds could have extra cash left. These funds can be used to save or spend on Fans to make more money. Never buy more than 2 fans at the start however, as your odds of losing fans if you lose up as fame increase.

Krumpin Time

4 Blitzers (320 –

4 Big Uns (360 –

1 Goblin (40) –

2 Linemen (100 –

This build gives you a solid line of Big Uns with linemen as support, and your Blitzers hara*s and work the ball. This design is versatile and strong and is only a few games away to an apothecary. A common variation of this is to trade a Big Un for a thrower and then upgrade the Goblin to the status of a Lineman.

One of the few non lineman builds in the game, this allows you to throw and foul with goblins while still having the full force of your Big Uns and Blitzers. The relatively low number of rerolls will mean some care is needed to minimize the chance of bad dice.

We’z Gobbos

This is as fast as you can build an Orc team, but you are losing a lot of hit power by dropping your Big Uns. You have bench players to make injuries or ejections less of a problem. It’s not a bad thing however I wouldn’t recommend it to rookie players.

This is about as weak as you could create an Orc team from the beginning. While you could substitute the Blitzer with the Big Un, I think 4 Block is better than having 4 ST four players. The slow speed and low rerolls, coupled with the erratic nature of the troll, make this design difficult to recommend. However, it is very workable.

No skills. No special tricks. Only raw numbers and a solid number of replays. A good roster for those that want a challenge and do not have the confidence to play stunties, or who want to help a player learn the game without making yourself too much.
