This guide will help you avoid the rampant cheaters that run amok in Battlefield 1. While this wont 100% guarantee that you will never see a cheater again it will help lessen that chance so you can enjoy this amazing game.

Disclaimer

Just to start off I want to say that Battlefield 1 is an older game so do not expect any new updates, or dev help as EA is busy working on new games and frankly have just left Battlefield 1 in the dust. Also much of the information on this guide was based off of my experience in US East servers so people may have different experiences in different regions.

Step 1 USE THE SERVER BROWSER

Battlefield 1 ™ - A beginners Guide on how to avoid cheaters in Battlefield 1 - Step 1 USE THE SERVER BROWSER
I am constantly surprised at the amount of people I find that use the quick match feature over the server browser. Quick match used to be much easier to use back when the game had a more active player base but nowadays the chance that you get put into an empty lobby is quite high. Also the quick match feature can put you into servers that are not in your time zone. I can remember countless times where I was put in Europeans servers without even knowing.

Step 2, do not go on a [DICE] server

Battlefield 1 ™ - A beginners Guide on how to avoid cheaters in Battlefield 1 - Step 2, do not go on a [DICE] server
The official DICE severs that are very common in the server browser DO NOT HAVE ACTIVE MODERATORS OR ADMINS. This means that cheaters have free range to do what they want in this server without any risk. They will only get reported and that frankly does nothing.

Step 3, go to any other full sever that is not [DICE]

Usually any sever that does not have the [DICE] label on it has an active mod or admin. I said usually because sometimes you can find servers with no active mods. Here I will list some of the servers that I have found to have active mods and admins. I will rank them from best to worse based on the players that frequent them:

Disclaimer: Most of these rankings are based on North american servers (with some exceptions) not any European, Oceanic, South American, or Antarctic servers. They are also based on conquest servers as it is the only game mode that people really play anymore.

1:Salty Noobs gaming servers. By far my favorite servers, not too sweaty with a healthy balance of new and veteran players. Their servers have the very distinctive *SaltyNoobs* tag.

2. TSC Gaming servers. Not a bad server over all, no cheaters and nice people. Only disclaimer is that usually there will be a squad full of TSC clan members who are super sweaty and usually dominate the opposing team. TSC servers are marked with the [TSC] tag.

3. Alliance Multi Gaming (AMG). I have not played on this server as much as any of the other as it is an EU server however my experience playing on there was always positive and it is always full of people playing. Their servers are marked with the [AMG] tag.

4. Grumpy Old Men server. Very positive server with a very kind player base. One of my favorite servers. Only reason it is down here is that it is not as active as it used to be. The server tag is simply Grumpy Old Men. Battlefield 1 ™ - A beginners Guide on how to avoid cheaters in Battlefield 1

Thanks for reading 🙂

Thank you for taking your time to read my guide and learn more about Battlefield 1. If you have any questions for me about anything Battlefield 1 related simply comment on this post or on my profile and I would be happy to help you out. I always get really bummed out when I see people leaving the game due to cheaters so I made this guide in hopes that people would come back to the game again. I’ve seen how this game has developed since I first played the game on PlayStation 4 in 2016 and I have played it since then. This game was what introduced me into the history of the Great War something that I now plan to study at University and hopefully become a military historian on the Subject. I love the Battlefield 1 community and would not want anything to happen to it so thank you for playing. 🙂Battlefield 1 ™ - A beginners Guide on how to avoid cheaters in Battlefield 1
