dont build anything out of order.. dismanteling things only gives u half of the materials back
In Custom Mode:
establish drones as fast as you can and scan every Anomalie the second it shows up.. it can provide u with a significant Resarchpoint boost.. which is crucial in the early game
you need to research Drones and Mining Probes before u can use them…
the only progress making tool u have is the Research Station (Lab available at Start) 2 Tables should suffice until u unlock the ones for Tier 2 Research
u can also order Supplies in Custom to refill Kits and other raw Materials for a Price also u can Hire more People (Docking Bay available at Start) the Stockpile in those Supply Stations is also Limited.. and refilling those takes a huge amount of time so establishing a working chain of Harvest “raw materials” -> Production is crucial 🙂
use Loyality Points to get some extra Money from the 3rd Radio Contact 25p for 25k or 50p for 50k
adding stuff as i go .. any further tipps i can add if u like
Beginner Tipps
Basic necessities: Power, Heat and Oxygen
u can funnel multiple Solar Panels into 1 Batterie the Solar output will be added into the Batterie so more than 2 Solar Panels will result in rapidly charging the batterie
“note: im not sure if overcharging is a thing”
on the other hand if u use multiple batteries draining Power from just 1 Solar Panel
the Energy-output will be divided by the number of Batteries..
so dont overstress the Solarpanels
“note: im not sure if Powerlevels deteriorate over time “discharging” ”
Heating will put a strain on your Power reserves as well
so only provide Heating to Modules ur people actually go to…
like Build a “only Solarpanel dedicated” Section on your base accessible only through 1 Hallway basically a dead end and dont heat them.
(also Oxygen is not required in a Solarpanel Module)
*i havent noticed any downside on keeping those specific areas unheated and unpressurized other than people who have to go there for maintenance have to wear a Suit since i guess Hallways are closed off by Pressurized Doors throughout the station
Example for a Dead End Solar Array
if u have Time and Materials dedicate ELDs in Groups for Heat Only and Oxygen only that way u can manage the used Energy in a more Efficient manner.
also 1 E.L.D. can support 2 Rooms with Heat and Oxygen (in total u have 4 outgoing connections per E.L.D.)
2 Rooms per E.L.D. Heat
2 Rooms per E.L.D. Oxygen
Large Life Support Module:
comes with 8 Stations and at the center 2 additional places for 2 Repair Stations to further minimize the legwork
Population: Housing, Sustenance and Waste
Large Crew Quarters:
comes with more places to place Beds (8 in total) + u also can Set up 2 Beverage Dispensers right in the Center
Lounge and Canteen
stretching our legs and showing food in our faces are the one constant pleasure we need…
so i present u the Lounge and the Canteen
Lounge:
Canteen:
Bathroom “the Apex of Civilisation” :
since ur people walk around in a hermetically sealed enviroment.. taking frequent showers and avoid to crap on the floor are paramount… so our intellect came up with bathrooms.. so rush towards them ASAP the one Crapper in the HUB is unable to serve more than 3 people
there it is….
it needs Water to function so a Pump and a Tank are needed in a nearby Life Support Module
The Currency of the Realm: Loyality Points and Credits
Loyaltypoints: How to get them
u can aquire those through
Research:
along with further unlocking Stuff occasionly u get some Loyality Points
