Mod Description

 
This mod adds the double movement rate buff, (the boots of speed effect), and adds it to all the other magical boots in the game. 
 
The other magical boots retain their original effects as well, giving the wearer the best of both worlds. For example, the Boots of Grounding/Talos’s Gift will have 50% resistance to electricity as well as double movement rate. 
 
 

How to Install

1)

 
Download the files via this link:

Add the files of the override folder you downloaded into the override folder in your Baldur’s Gate EE directory. 
 
This is the default directory: 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition\override 
 

3)

 
Optionally, you can replace your dialog.tlk file with the one you downloaded. 
 
This just adds the proper text to the item description 
as shown in the picture below. This is for the english/US language type. 
 
default file location: 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition\lang\en_US 
 
 
 
THIS FILE REPLACES YOUR EXISTING FILE SO PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL dialog.tlk FILE. 
You can always reinstall the game as well after deleting the replacement file.
