Hello and welcome, Everything you need to know about Apex Legends™ – What is Orientation Mode? may be found in this guide. Take each step following this guidance.

Since the Season 16 release of Apex Legends, also called Revelry, there have been a few adjustments to the battle Royale. These adjustments are made specifically for new players who play in the new game mode Orientation Match. The brand-new Apex mode can only be accessed by players who have never used bots before.

All Legends are now sorted into their respective Class types. Orientation Matches allow new players to play against bots in a training-style Battle Royale match. This simulates the authentic Battle Royale experience Apex provides.

What exactly is an “Orientation Match?” in Apex Legends?

Apex’s new Orientation Matches gives first-time players a low-risk preview of Battle Royale mode. It will give them a sense of what to expect from the game when they start it. If you are starting the game from level 1, you will need training. However, after that, you’ll have to compete in Orientation Matches.

To a certain extent, everything you do in this mode will help you prepare for an actual match. These matches will see you play Battle Royale. However, most of the players in your lobby will be bots. Only four to five other squads will include actual players. The match will follow the normal format, but it will be less daunting for newcomers as fewer players will be in the lobby. Although the bots do try their best, when you see a team of players, it becomes obvious that they’re not bots. Bot-controlled characters will have randomly generated names and be labeled with BOT.

TIP: It seems that if your winning two Orientation Matches in a row would mean you are no longer able to participate.

The bots are going to battle each other. Some bots may be better than others. If they are very successful, they may be able to obtain purple shields and a lot of ammo. Orientation allows you to eliminate other teams, plan with your squad about where to move, identify strategic points for an ambush, and various activities. This mode is a great way to learn the basics of the game and engage in battles. It’s a refreshing start to a game as daunting as Apex legends.

However, Orientation Matches will not allow you to try again. Based on our experience, we could play the remaining modes once we had won 2 matches consecutively. This was true regardless if you were playing in a different game mode. Once you have completed the Orientation Matches, the game will count you as having graduated to the proper Battle Royale matches. Unless a friend invites them, you cannot play more Orientation Matches.

How to sign-up for Orientation Match?

Only those who have created a new account can access the mode. To be able to participate in one or both of these modes, you must use a brand-new account. You won’t be able to do this if you have used the same account before to compete in Battle Royale. In the past, players could jump into the Battle Royale main match in Trios and Duos immediately after completing Training. However, after the Revelry upgrade, this no longer applies. To start, you will need the Training Mode. Once you have powered it off, it is the only way to access the main Battle Royale match in Trios or Duos.

After completing the Training mission, the mode selection screen will display a new option called Orientation Match. Unless you have completed the Orientation Matches before you can access any other game mode, except Training and Firing Range, you will not be able to access the rest of the game modes. This will be indicated with a message located next to each mode. Wait for the mode you choose to load to complete. To earn the ultimate victory, first, select your Legend. Then have your Jump Master launch to the Dropship into King’s Canyon.

Who is eligible to take part in an orientation match?

If you know of any of your friends who are also Apex players, you can invite them to your party. Then you can all load into an Orientation Match as a group. This can be done by creating a new account, or you may join them with an existing level 500 account. Both are available.

If not, the only people who will be able to play these matches are those who are starting up Apex for the very first time, as it is a prerequisite to unlock the Battle Royale mode and jump right into the action. This is why it is possible to find players in lobbies higher than your skill level. However, it is unlikely that you will come across players that are higher or lower than you because this mode is made for new players.
