Acting innocent seems innocent, so do it.

How to Blend in Without Being Caught

 

• Don’t target anybody or blame someone else. Let the crewmates decide who is sus or not.

• Don’t show sympathy for dead crewmates. It’ll seem like sarcasm, and you’ll get voted out.

• Agree on someone to vote for.

• Don’t change attitudes from crewmate to impostor.

 

Knowing the Maps

Analyze how you can get caught and how to stop it from happening.

Usable Items

 

• The admin panel on The Skeld shows where everyone is and where people die. Disable Communications to Disable the admin panel.

• Vitals on Polus show if people die and if someone is near the impostor.

• Cameras on The Skeld show different areas around the map. Disable Communications to Disable the cameras.

• Doorlogs on Mira HQ show when someone passes the logging locations.

 

Working With Other Impostors

Keep in mind; there are others on your team too. Cooperate with the other impostors to secure a win.

• Double Killing.

• Framing crewmates easier.

• Stronger alibis.

 

Keybinds

Having control of your keyboard is super important for winning.

Sabotages

Always be ready to sabotage doors. Sabotaging doors gives you a large advantage to never being caught.

P.S. Other sabotages need no introduction.

P.S.2. Reactor sabotages, and O2 sabotages disable emergency meetings.

Usages of Door Sabotages

 

• Hiding bodies.

• Stopping people from entering/ exiting rooms.

 

Killing

Make sure to never kill on cameras. The lights will blink once the cameras are on.
Sabotaging Communications disables the admin panel and cameras.

Don’t wait for cooldowns to end. Standing next to somebody or the following somebody until you can kill them will get you voted off immediately.

Faking Tasks

Every crewmate has a set of tasks to complete. To hide your murderous capabilities, you must fake tasks.

Tasks to Fake

1. Download – Communications – Communications is very rarely gone to room, yet has two task locations. Fake them to hide within other crewmates.
2. Wires – Anywhere – Fix Wires is a long task, meaning you have to go everywhere to get the task done. It is easy to fake.
3. Start Reactor – Reactor – Start Reactor is a long task; it is easy to fak.
4. Calibrate Distributors – Electrical – A task everybody has trouble completing can be faked easily.

Tips for Faking Tasks

1. If someone wants to see you do a task, sabotage Communications to get away with faking them.
2. On Skeld, Swipe Card and Fix Wiring are the common tasks. Everyone has them.
3. On Mira HQ, Enter ID Code and Fix Wiring are the common tasks. Everyone has them.
4. On Polus, the common tasks are Insert Keys and Fix Wiring. Everyone has them.
