Currently there are a few useful tips I discovered that the game doesn’t tell you

Simple controls you aren’t told about (Can be rebinded)

If you press caps lock, you Toggle walking instead of jogging as the default. Has no real purpose but if you want to immerse yourself in the game more, you can

If you press the middle mouse button, you swap the shoulder camera side.

Very useful for seeing around corners from certain angles, currently does nothing in first person mode (Obviously)

Rain has a purpose

Oddly enough, this mechanic is not yet described in game. Whenever it starts to rain you should use this as an opportunity to be a bit more ballsy in your approach, Rain dampens all sound you make, so prying open windows and general movement within a house is a lot “quieter”. This will be a very useful mechanic past prologue, but for now is still handy to know about. There is no set way to trigger rain, so use it when you can.

Doorbells are your friend (sometimes)

If you cant quite see through to where a tenant is then you can always ring the doorbell to quickly scan them and find out, to anyone who played thief simulator this will feel very strange but is a good change. Not all tenants are going to fall for the electrician disguise, so this may sometimes be your best option. As for tenants with no doorbell outside their house? You can either throw a bottle around the house and hope they investigate or just bite the bullet and buy Intel (Though I much prefer to go in blind and hope for the best, more tense that way)
