Hello and welcome, This Albion Online – Basic build for beginner Guide was written to be of use to you, and it is our honest hope that you will find that to be the case.

What should a player build to become a successful one?

Money is life!

“Silver’s power in Albion!”

You will take a big chunk of silver each time you die. When you are within (Red/Black).

Escape with your whole life can save you a lot.

However, you will be unable to progress as fast if you play in Blue/Yellow zone or solo Dungeons. Red/Black Zones give you a lot less fame which translates into Power!

Armour

Good builds and good gear are not cheap.

But you can get stronger by using gear.

If you only buy the best gear, you will grow stronger and provide greater value to Fame farming.

It is important to farm your “Reaver”, before you enter a more difficult zone.

You can still undergear so long as the right reaver is available

When you enter a VI zone, you would assume you need VI gear.

There is a substantial price increase, so don’t waste the silver. You will likely die from it.

All gear will have common abilities, which will be applicable to all types of gear. These abilities can be used to your advantage, so you will feel confident.

There are many choices

The only thing you can choose is the type of armor you want to wear.

Plate

• High Defence
• Few Damage buffs

 

Leather

• Med Defence
• Some Damage buffs

 

Cloth

• Low Defence
• Many damage buffs

 

Enchanting

Some people may say that 4.1 gear refers to an IV with one enchant.

As we said before, it is not a good idea to over-gear.

A single level in enchanting (.1) – will give you another 100 power

You will need the “Runes“, which is required for the first stage.

These can either be farmed in solo dungeons (or purchased cheaply at the market).

It is cheaper to enchant by yourself, so save your money and get a lot of stockpiled items when they are on sale.

Each level of enchanting is worth another 100power

• .1 += 100power
• .2 += 100power
• .3 += 100power
• .4 += 100power

However, as costs rise, so does your silver efficiency.

Weapons

Some weapons can be quite expensive.

My temptation was to immediately pick the best PVP gun and train it, so that when it came to fighting I would be proficient with it.

This is true, however, at the very end of the game. You will also be able to use cheap weapons to great effect, just like armor.

There are many weapons that you can choose from, so make sure to pick the one you love to use.

Combat can be extremely fun, so having the right weapon is an added bonus.

Albion’s armour will not limit what weapon you can use, despite the fact that it is designed.

What if you’ve already levelled your cloth armour and you want to use great battle axes? Go for it!

By using cheaper versions of the axes, you will become more proficient with all axes. If you decide to switch to another axe to increase your PVP/PVE, then you will already be making significant progress.

The Meta is changing

Weapons can be excellent at times but this is not always the case. If you have a weapon you like and have kept it, you will be much stronger than someone who bought the “Flavourof the Month” weapon and has no experience with the weapon.

Quality

“What Quality should we choose?”

You guessed it… the cheap one. A quick look at the prices will show that most below Masterpiece items don’t have a significant price jump, so make sure to take the extra power and get a few hundred more silver.
