The first and foremost most important thing to do, is find a control scheme that works for you, whether that be gamepad or keyboard, it’s important make sure you have easy access to the important buttons: dash, shield, hyper, shield, weapon a, shield, weapon b, shield, special, shield, and lastly but most most certainly not least, don’t forget to make sure you have quick access to the little mentioned shield button!
 
 

How to Win?

 
The objective of aos2 at first seems like any regular icky garbage nasty fighting game: try and take and bring down your opponents health bar, and be the last character standing! This is a deception hypnotized into your mind by completely incompetent game designers. The masterpiece Aos2 however, has a completely different goal. It is not to bring your opponents health bar down, it’s to stop your own from going down!
 
Aos2 is perfectly designed for this purpose. You see, the win condition of the fantastic and amazing game that is Aos2, is actually to have higher health once time runs out! If killing your opponent happens, it’s entirely by mistake. Never try to do this intentionally, ever. We’re here to win, not have fun, after all!
 
 
Not Taking Damage
 
How do you do it? It’s simple, earlier in this guide, I casually mentioned the shield button. This is the one stop power move button that makes the goal of this game possible! You see, when an opponent approaches you (icky bad non-optimal un-winning behavior), you press shield to let out a half shield. This gives you immunity to all attacks, and lasts for almost an entire second! Use this to escape and run away from your enemy!
 
 
No Meter!
 
Ah, oh no, I’ve run out of meter to use my beloved half shield, what do I do? The answer of course, is not to interact with the enemy, as that would potentially make you take damage (and we can’t have that), but instead it’s to run away. Run away and farm meter.
 
 
Oh no, the enemy has more hp than me, what do I do?
 
This is a tricky situation, you’ve managed to lose advantage (likely because you messed up your half shield), so what can you do? The answer is simple:
