The Fix (how-to)

1. Click on SQUAD to select ‘properties.

Go to BETAS and select:

‘performance_hotfix – branch…’

1.1. Steam begins to download the entire game (the new branch).

2. Start the new branch

2.1 It suddenly feels super smooth with DX11.

2.2 Go to Settings and select Window Mode just select ‘borderless’

2.3 Apply settings, then quit the game

3. Click on SQUAD to select ‘properties.

Go to BETA, and de-select:

‘performance_hotfix – branch…’

3.1 Steam now downloads the entire game again.

3.2 Start the regular version of SQUAD.

3.3 Yes, it suddenly feels super smooth.

4. Enjoy the full SQUAD menu experience.

4.1 Yes, wtf.
