Learn your ammunition and provide a stronger fight against blood thirsty zombies – and knowledge when to use that type of ammunition when in a situation and how much damage it does.
Section I – All Ammunitions In Game
All types of these ammunition is still in game and will probably be in Alpha 20.
9MM Bullets are used in Pistols and SMG’s, SMG’s used to have it’s own ammunition but it was removed in last alphas. It’s standard bullets and can still kill zombies with this type of ammunition, it can be used close range or far range.
44′ Magnum ammunition is used in 44 Magnums and the Desert Vulture, 44’s can deal a lot of damage and blow limbs apart of the zombies, but it’s a standard ammunition, you can use this far range of close range.
7.62 Ammunition is used for long rifles such as, Hunting Rifle, AK-47, M60 Machine Gun, and Marksman Rifle, and this type of ammunition can be used for the new weapons that will be coming to Alpha 20, it’s a standard bullet, and can deal damage to the zombies, used for long distances away from the zombies.
Blunderbuss ammunition is only used for the Blunderbuss, it includes pellets and can deal damage to the zombies, the Blunderbuss maybe will not be in Alpha 20, and will be replaced with the new weapons coming to Alpha 20, I wanted to include the Blunderbuss ammunition because it’s very useful information if you don’t know what is Blunderbuss ammunition really is, but it can be used for close range when a short distance of a zombie.
Shotgun Shells are used in Shotguns, Double Barrel Shotguns, Pump Shotguns, and Drum Shotgun, the shells include pellets they can do increasingly more damage to zombies, I recommend using the Shotgun shells if the zombie is running at you for close encounters and having a short distance away from the zombies, using the Shotgun far range is a bad idea, because Pellets spread after firing the Shotgun and barely won’t hit the zombies.
Robotic Turret Ammunition is used in the Robotic Turret only, it only fires regular ammunition, and whats used to craft it is Iron.
Section II – Special Ammunition
These are all special ammuntion, which can do incredible damage.
9MM – Armor Piercing Ammunition, used to penetrate armor and does decent damage, you can use this close range – it’s recommended to use it when a zombie is heavily armored, like Zombie Solider, and Motorcycle Zombie and possibly Construction Worker Zombie, and the Demolisher, Demolisher can still be detonated if you fire at his detonator with any type of ammo – if you have the Penetrator perk, then you can penetrate more than one zombie, if it’s increased you can penetrate a lot more zombies using the Armored Piericing Ammunition.
9MM – Hollow Point Ammunition, used for any type of zombie, except for armored zombies, but it can still be used but it doesn’t deal that much damage – it doubles the damage a lot, it hits the zombies and the bullet tears apart limbs inside the zombie and spreads like pellets, you can use it close or long range, the Penetrator perk does not work for for the Hollow Point ammunition.
All Special ammunition could require books to read, or perks.
7.62 – Armored Piercing Ammunition, it can penetrate any armored zombie from a far range, and it can be used for the Penetrator perk.
7.62 – Hollow Point Ammunition, used long range, and can spread pellets inside a zombie and tear apart limbs inside a zombie, it does not work for the Penetrator perk.
Shotgun Slugs can be used for a Feral Zombie or a Zombie Bear or a Zombie Cop, because how much damage the slugs actually inflicts and can easily kill heavy big zombies, it can do more damage than the regular Shotgun ammunition, but it doesn’t do so well for armored zombies.
Shotgun Breaching Slugs are not for zombies at all, and barely doesn’t even do anything, it’s used for opening up safes by firing it at the safe which can unlock it faster.
44′ Magnum – Armored Piercing Ammunition, used for armored zombies, but since the 44 is powerful, it can blow the armor rating the zombie, and inflicts damage, and the Penetrator perk can still be in affect for this.
44 Magnum – Hollow Point Ammunition, used for any zombie, but it can’t do that much damage to armored zombies, it can inflict a lot of damage of the zombie, and still spreads pellets inside the zombie, killing it instantly when using the 44′.
Robotic Turret Shell Ammunition, it’s used for close range, and can fire pellets with can inflict more damage than the regular Robotic Turret Ammunition.
Robotic Turret – Armored Piercing Ammunition, can be used in Robotic Turrets and can penetrate the armored zombies, and can be used far range or close, and you can use the Penetrator for this type of ammunition and can penetrate more zombies.
Section III – Conclusion And Warnings Of Using Weapons And Bullets
It’s Important not to use firearms very often, because it can attract heat and cause more zombies arriving at your front door, but use it for your caution if you have a emergency and your very low on health, like a Zombie Bears and Zombie Dogs, or a Zombie Cop, all of those zombies can be shot using Shotgun slugs, it’s best to keep caution and try to safe ammo for upcoming bloodmoon hordes for your cautions.
